UNI Horror Nights question.

Ok, I know a WDW special event party like the Not so scary Halloween party and Mickey's Christmas party you can buy a ticket for that particular event and you do not need a general admission ticket. You can enter magic kingdom at 4pm the day of your event. My question is, is universal the same or do I have to buy a regular ticket and a horror night ticket?

Also I'd like to know the samething about busch gardens in Tampa too with their fright nights.

For both parks you have options but first off neither park allows you early access into the event with a general horror night / howl o scream event ticket. But at Busch Gardens you can purchase the fright feast which is a fairly good meal and early access to the event. At Universal you can purchase the stay and scream option. With this you get all day admission into the park as well as access to the haunt that night. The catch however is that once Universal closes to regular guests you don't want to leave as the gates will not reopen until the event starts. Stay inside the park and they will cordon you off in a waiting area and you will get roughly a 15 min jump on the crowds.

I remember when we were at US/IoA by day on a night that was Horror Night. We were escorted out at closing time, and I could see the throngs of people waiting to get into Horror Night. No one got in early. People who had Stay and Scream tickets were allowed to stay inside the park (but not with full access) until Horror Night began.
