Unfinished rides

I always felt that SE was not done. There should have been more than just stars as you descend. Another ride that comes to mind is Living With the Land boat ride. I always thought the area after the farmhouse where they show projections of stills up on the wall was unfinished and there was going to be more added in that area. But they never did. There certainly is enough room there.

Any others that you can think of?

Journey into your imagination.
If you want more current, I feel like toy story midway mania needs way more immersion and I think the only reason why it isn't that immersive is because of newish technology. I'm sure if disney made a new ride with the same tech, it would be way more immersive, but this is a wait and see situation.

I feel like I might be making this up - but - didn’t Living with the Land used to have singing vegetables at the end of the ride? Some sort of a Listen to the Land song?

You are remembering Kitchen Kabaret....which became Food Rocks....which became Soarin’.

“Listen to the Land” was the song played during the boat ride though. 😊
You know what’s funny - I don’t remember having seen either Kitchen Kabaret or Food Rocks but I guess I just morphed one or both of them into Living With The Land! Thank you.

funny how your mind plays tricks on you. I was thinking Food Rocks was in the Wonders of Life Pavilion.

Spaceship earth used to have so much more than just stars. That was many moons ago. Check out Martin's Vids.

I had gotten the idea that Mission: Space had alternate Mars scenarios, depending on how well the passengers did on pushing buttons and "steering". But all the times I rode it (the first time orange, the rest green) it always turned out the same, until the recent replacement of the Mars story with an Earth story on the green side.

Listen to the Land opened with the symphony of the seeds section, where the first rainforest is now: slightly similar to the Rivers of Light boat ride you sailed past large flowers and seeds with changing colours to the Listen to the Land song.

All those 'unfinished' areas mentioned thus far used to be fully accomplished show areas before the barbarians got their clutches on WDW.

SSE, LwtL and especially Imagination before their replacement by their current incarnations, M:S and TSMM when they were Horizons and the Backlot.

That's what they're trying to do with the Millennium Falcon attraction. By rendering it in real time, you are literally flying the millennium falcon (in a simulated sense). What you do the ride does.
