Where else could I share this wonderful unexpected pre-trip report but here where all of you wonderful people would understand my total excitement!!! :sohappy:
Yesterday I found out that my brother and his family (who live 10 minutes from Disney Vero Beach) couldn't make their two week trip up to New Hampshisre this summer do to my brother's job commitments. Everyone was very upset as we were all looking forward to their visit. Well I got on line to just see what kind of airfair I could get and low and behold my family of four could fly RT/non-stop for $990, not too bad considering it's only 5 weeks away! Called hubby and he said to go for it, yay!! So I did.
Called my brother and sister-in-law, who couldn't be more thrilled with the way things turned out. This will be a low key vacation, mostly beach and hanging out BUT there will be two to four days during those two weeks we'll be going to THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!! I'm so excited I just had to share. One of the best things I am looking forward to is seeing the MSEP again. When my parents took us to Disney for the first time way back in the late '70's I saw MSEP for the first time and fell in love! My parents had to buy me the album, yes vinyl, right away and I played it over and over and over. 25+ years later I still have it and love playing it. My kids just laugh at me. I think it's truly the only time they get a glimce of a younger, carefree "mom" when I was their age. We also have lots of water park days left on our hoppers so we'll be hitting TL and BB as well.
