UnDISCOVERed Future World Tour at EPCOT - questions

Hello everyone!
I'm planning on doing a few tours when I move down to Orlando. I am a HUGE EPCOT geek and love reading about its history and older attractions. There's not a lot of in depth info I could find about this tour online. On the WDW website it says the tour will take you to some of the VIP lounges, but doesn't say if it'll go into Imagination's VIP lounge. Journey into Imagination has always been a big topic of interest for me, so if any of you guys have gone on the tour, could you tell me the extent of what you did/saw in the Imagination Pavilion? Someone posted elsewhere that they got a glimpse of the unused space at the top of the pavilion (aka the old image works) but I couldn't find anyone else that said they also got to go up there and see the old space and the Imagination VIP lounge.
So to wrap up this wordy post, if anyone could tell me what they saw on the tour, I would greatly appreciate it! :)
Thanks!

The lounge at the top of Imagination is now the DVC lounge. There's still space behind it I think, but not sure how you could access it. And I believe it's just storage now. So I doubt the tour takes you there.

This^. The area behind the DVC lounge is walled of. A video was uploaded about a year ago, almost to the day. I probably can't share it on here due to forum rules (most certainly trespassing and backstage!) but parts of the area were in the process of being demo'd. The rainbow tunnel was gone as were some of the other exhibits.

The DVC lounge isn't much. I was pretty excited when it opened but after I got up there, it was a "meh" moment. If it weren't for the fact you were in the glass pyramid, you'd have no idea it was the Imagination pavilion. Just a bunch of chairs, TVs, pop machines, and screaming kids. The view was nice, but the glass needs a good power wash.

The (former) Kodak lounge is behind the theater but I don't think they take you in there since it's offices now.
At 18 minutes:

I have heard they take you into a area that has an AA from the original JII, Figment holding the spinning blocks I believe. But it also seems like it varies from tour to tour.

Also @docandblondie, is that Duquesne University in your profile pic? I know someone going there that's a big Disney person.

I did the tour a few weeks ago. We walked around the outside and the tour guide discussed the Imagination Pavilion for a few minutes, but we never went inside. The VIP lounge we went into was the Test Track lounge.

Don't know if I was that someone but, yes, I saw the unused space upstairs in Imagination. Since it's now a lounge, my guess is the tour doesn't go there. When I went, we rode Soarin', toured the M:S lounge, and went backstage at TT and the CM costume facility. The tour ended on stage in China.

To add, I found a photosphere I took in 2016 of the lounge: https://photos.app.goo.gl/ROsLteUqEVlcqDAS2
You'll have to click the picture twice and then you'll get the 360 effect. It's not the best but still somewhat neat.

I am guessing which lounges you visit depends on lounge schedules. We did this tour in early Dec 2017 and visited the VIP lounges in Mission: Space and at the Coral Reef restaurant. We also used the VIP entrance/route for riding Test Track.
