Under The Radar

There are so many awsum things at WDW. Exciting Rides, great shows, great restaurants etc. There are also a lot of things that I enjoy so much that maybe dont get the acclaim here that many other things get...The things that maybe fly under the radar so to speak. For me I soo much enjoy the small side shows that go on like the barber shop quartet, or the street players that dance and sing along Main St USA, even the piano player at Casey's. I look forward to these little nuances that might not be on everyone's not to miss list. The bus driver's act..the relaxing calm boat rides ,especially from Poly,GF to MK. All those little things..I LOVE THEM.

The Dapper Dans and the MSUSA performers are some of my favorites as well. I love to get to the park at opening, go straight to the bakery, get breakfast and enjoy the shows.

Our kids have mandated a 'down' day between parks to spend the day at the resort pool. My 7-year old told us that was his favorite day of the last trip. Searching for hidden Mickey's is also now a priority for the kiddos. It's funny because my wife and I just had the discussion that you could spend days at WDW without ever setting foot in one of the 4 parks and be completely entertained. You're right, WDW offers alot of things that aren't "on the map".

Kim Possible at Epcot. Listening to Mo Rockin' too.
Also enjoy the discovery trails at DAK.
Our favorite thing to do (including my 9year old) is sit at the backlot atDHS with a few snacks and drinks and people watch. He goes in and out of the Honey I Shrunk The Kids play area and we just relax and talk. Buy the Book is a cute lil store to grab a hot drink and snack on a cold day too.
Adult only days we enjoy the bar at 50's prime time.
We're not big MK people, buy Tom Sawyer Island is fun and relaxing too.

We also do a pool day, originally for my then 4 year old who couldn't handle 4 days of parks in a row. It's stuck ever since and she still love those days! Not sure how unnoticed this goes but the Singing In The Rain Umbrella in DHS is one thing my family has to see. My DD20 has a picture under it from every time that she has been
