Ultimate Pass?

Hi all!

The tour operator we always book with (Virgin Holidays) includes an Ultimate Hopper Pass for every day you stay "on-site". We were under the impression that if you stayed "On-Site" you automatically recieved these tickets. Is this the case? or does it differ from package to package?

Staying on site does not get you ANY park admission UNLESS you buy a package. But if this thing you are booking includes it then the ticket will give you unlimited admission to the parks, water parks, pleasure island, Wide world of sports, and Disneyquest. But be careful depending on the amount of days you stay this ticket can be very expensive and not worth the price. If you are staying more than 8 days or so then you might be better off getting an Annual Pass.

I think you'll find that Virgin "includes" the Length Of Stay" pass in the prices of on-site property to increase the amount you pay them (profit margins, price mark ups etc etc)
We stayed On-site '99 (British Airways Holidays) and '01 (Jet Save Holidays - they were the only operator who had flights). In both cases we compared their prices of "Tickets included" against brochures where you had to purchase the Length Of Stay pass seperately - You'll find that if you take the ticket price off your Virgin holiday you're paying about the same as those who sell them as extras.
In short you don't get free tickets / park entry.
Thanks for the bank holiday wishes - two lie ins - unfortunately some of us have to work it - but you can't argue with double time !
