ULB's Ultimate PRE-Trip Report

Hi, I am a new member here and I have decided to make a pre trip report for my August 12-17 trip. We are going for our 5th time and can't wait to check in at the Yacht Club. So far, we have some stuff planned. For dinner reservations, we have the San Angel Inn at the Mexico pavilion and California Grill. :cry: we dont really have much of an iteniry yet and could use any advice as the trip is coming up rapidly!

Hello and welcome!

You'll find a lot of great tips and advice here by a bunch of well versed Disney fans ;). I just got back last week from a wonderful two week trip to sunny Florida. What I found this year was for summer time wait times were surprisingly low. We never waited more than half an hour at any attraction. We utilized Fast Pass and we made it through MK and Epcot in one day and DHS and AK in one day. We did have time constraints this trip as we traveled quite a bit between Orlando and Vero Beach.

Have a wonderful time and I hope wait times are as low for you as they were for me! :wave:

See about getting ADRs for the Yachtsman Steakhouse. I've always found it nice (and more convenient to dine where you are staying. Plus, YS is a really nice restaurant! What other types of suggestions are you looking for?

Going down 1 day earlier and leaving 1 day later....DVC member since 03 - got lucky 3 months ago and was able to get a reserv at BLT LV for 7 nights.....You must, if you already didn't already, try to get any reserv at La Celliar!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that we also booked a reservation for the Yachtsman. I'm happy about that. I believe we still have one for Whispering Canyon, too. :shrug: We may also head down to DTD and check out the T-Rex restaurant. I've see a lot of pics of that place, and it looks decent. :wave:
