UK vs US Reservations Availability

We have a trip booked for 11 nights this June at the Coronado Springs. Currently we are booked in a standard room with a king bed but one of our friends has decided to join us for 6 nights and I want to swap the room to be two beds. We have booked through the UK website and when I called to make the switch they said there wasn't any rooms with two beds at CS – however they show as available on the US website. They obviously pull from seperate inventories but I was wondering if anyone knows if this tends to be updated or if they never cross over? Wanted to ask before we start looking at switching to another resort as really wanted to try the Coronado Springs out this time. Thanks for any insights!

I think this has to be with the deals that they are offering on the UK website. There's probably a limited availability for them, just like there would be for deals in the US. Do you have a package with tickets and/or flights?

I would see if you can book online on the US site for a room-only reservation at CS. If so, then you can cancel your existing U.K. deal, and just buy your tickets separately.

When you log on, click on the blue bit at the top which says "United Kingdom and Ireland (English)" and change it to "United Staes (English)". I don't know if they will let you book or not, but try first before deciding to switch resorts.

I asked just this question this week as I was after changing our room at SSR to a disabled access one. The US site is showing availability but Disney.co.uk isn’t. The CM said they can’t borrow from US inventory and if I wanted to change I’d have to cancel and rebook with US site. I presume if I did that I’d lose the ‘free’ dining plan.

Yes you would, unless the US site had a similar deal. But I would do it the other way round. Try booking with the US site first, then cancel the UK one. Just to be sure you have a servation one way or other!
