UK ultimate tickets

We have a trip planned from the UK for early september, but it's not looking great for borders opening. So now a little stuck with extended 2020 14-day UK ultimate tickets, which I could - in theory - return, but would only get 80% of my money back. We are absolutely gutted, because they're such a good price! But alas, looks like we'll have to look into 2022 and pay quite a bit more for our tickets in those dates.

Is there anywhere anyone recommends for trying to sell them?

You should get the full value that you paid for them if you move the dates I think. I’m sure they’ve added that wording somewhere. Prices will have gone up but you should only have to pay the difference.

Did you buy them direct from Disney? If you haven’t already done so I would call them and get it sorted out.

We got them from Attraction Tickets (first time too ugh!), otherwise we'd just go for the full refund that Disney was offering. I'll see if I can sort through Disney. We're not very sure we can make it next year, so changing dates not really an option for us. Thank you so much for the reply!

OK, I had a look at that site and the cancellation fees.

However since you can’t actually get there it seems really poor that they won’t waive the fee to be honest. Have you tried talking to them? That’s the first step.

If they won’t budge I would follow up with an email. I see they’re covered by ABTA which is promising, I know it doesn’t guarantee anything but it does mean you could complain to ABTA. And those other organisations they’re proudly displaying.

Other suggestions if calling doesn’t get you anywhere:

If you paid by credit card, contact the card provider and see about filing a charge back (or whatever they call it)

Your travel insurance may well cover the cost of the tickets (or the amount you won’t get back) - but I’d be fighting attraction tickets first.

And social media can work wonders too, if they have a Twitter account for example.
