UK-only 10 Day 'World' Tickets

Has anyone used these yet? We have some ordered, set to arrive 10 days before our trip.

Basically, it's a 10 day hopper with differences. DisneyQuest and Wide World of Sports are included, as are the water parks. The ticket lasts 21 days from its first use, and you get 10 days of Disney. Also, a character breakfast is included.

For information on this ticket, you can see here:
http://www.virgintravelstore.com/aff/Teletext/Overseas/Individualoffer.asp?ProductID=3

We got ours on a special offer from the travel agents, so it was only £199 (about $301). The price in a Disney Store is (I think) £259.

I was wondering if anyone had used one of these yet, if there were any restrictions, where you can take the character breakfast, if you got your money's worth etc. Basically, anything interesting you feel like sharing.

I tend to think that Annual Passes are a better deal. The Premium Annual Pass, valid for a full year, is only $469. Although there is no Character Breakfast with that pass.

Annual Passes are also a great way to convince yourself that you need 2 WDW trips per year! Just to get value of money from your pass of course! ;) LOL

We got ours through Virgin for our next visit in 2003 - they were £260 each. Your prices will be for 2002

It basically gives you the same entitlements as a Length Of Stay pass - ENTRY to Disney Quest is included & ENTRY to WWS (you have to pay extra if there are any events taking place.

You should be able to use it at ANY character breakfast (just remember to book it in advance) and to present it as soon as you get seated.

The "breakfast included" feature makes the price of the ticket more realistic, plus if you manage to visit WDW for the full ten days then I would suggest that you're definitely going to get your moneys worth.

I too would be interested to hear of restrictions but I can't foresee any.

10 day ticket 4 Disney

The last two times we have been to Florida we have used these passes... not exactly economically viable to buy annual passes and only use them once a year (i live in the UK). The pass is great, definitely worth the money.

We have never taken advantage of the character breakfast that is included in the price of the ticket but i am sure that this would be great as well!

*I'm leaving for Disney tomorrow*

Heading for the great escape.
The last time I used this pass was in 2000 and I got it from a Disney store and they gave me a 10% discount. some promotion its always worth checking.
Ive booked for three weeks next August and am waiting till the discount rates for Club members come out to see whats the best value. Especially as im a park a day sort. As my mother said in 2K this is not a bloody holiday, its an endurance test. Bahhh some pensioners have no staying power.
However i plan to Stay my last 3 nights at the Hard Rock, then ill be able to comment on the quality diffrence.

LOL! I wish I was! ;)

I always used to use a hopper or length of stay pass, but then realised that an Annual Pass (the regular kind at $349), becomes cheaper than any other pass when your stay becomes longer than around 9 to 10 days. The AP also has the advantage that you can visit parks for just a few hours, without wasting a whole days entry...PLUS you get useful AP discounts, like 10% of merchandise, dining discounts etc.. :)

Annual Passes

Even though I live in Florida and get the resident discount on the annual passes, I still think even for non-residents who come once a year they are the best deal. If you buy one annual pass this year, and then plan next year's trip for a couple weeks earlier, you can use the same pass for two trips, so your tickets next year will be essentially free(or divide the ticket cost in half, depending on which way you like to look at it). Even if you go ahead and buy a premium annual at $469 or whatever, so you can get Disneyquest and the waterparks included, if you use it for two years' trips, each trip's tickets are only costing $235 (probably less than 199 pounds UK, although I don't know the exchange rate currently). Although this does not include a character breakfast, character breakfasts typically run less than $20, and this is another case of Disney throwing in something extra that doesn't cost very much to make a package sound like a better deal. It also makes you feel like you HAVE to go do the character breakfast since you already paid for it, whether you would have actually gone to one on your own or not LOL. So at least in my opinion, the annual passes are the best deal, and if you like a character breakfast, those are fairly inexpensive to pay for on your own.
