Ok, I'm a CIT ( coucelor in training ) at my home town YMCA. I am with the summer camp, musical theater. Its a camp where you learn to perform on stage and the whole camp presents the play to other YMCA camps and the parents. I've been in Musical Theater in recent years as a camper, and I've been in some great plays. We once staged the lion king, and I was pumbaa! Now that I'm a CIT in this one camp, and the stage show that we're doing is a broadway review. Its a play where kids stage different songs from famouse broadway plays. Well, this is what I think of it: IT STINKS! IT SMELLS! IT REEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, with that said, let me explain why:

The couselor who did the show had a horrible commentary, and said things like: "Now, blue group is going to do a few songs from "The Sound of Music". Come on up blue group. Quiet guys. Are you ready? Ok! One, two, GO! He said it so that the entire audience could hear! And they announced only yesturday that the campers had to get their costumes ready, when they should've given them alot more time to get their costumes ready! Some of the little kids didn't even bother, and showed up with no costumes at all! I am so mad. The new couselors didn't know what they were doing. They didn't give all of their effort ot help the kids. I'm just so mad. This could've been a great play. Its just a sort of play that Paul Pressler would do you know? Done the cheap way, etc. :fork:
