We did'nt make it over to Typhoon Lagoon on our trip last year, but in 2004 we spent most all afternoon at TL on Wed. Dec.1. I remember it being an overcast day with temps in the low 80's.
We had a great afternoon. There was a brief shower around 4pm that lasted about 30 minutes, followed by a steady light breeze that made it a bit cool in the shady spots. Overall though you'll probably be able to go and enjoy at that time of year.
We'll be back this year 11/25 to 12/2 and plan to do a day there.
I've got a pool here at home that I keep open year round. It just looks better than a pool in the back yard all covered up, but it's already too cool up here above Atlanta for swimming. It will be a nice outing to be able to take a dip in December.
And I might be wrong, but I'm thinking the resort pool at ASM was heated. It might just have been the kiddie pool, but for some reason I think it was warm at night.
