Typhoon Lagoon expansion

Anyone heard any news lately about the rumored Typhoon Lagoon expansion?

I was a CP lifeguard there (and then moved to Blizzard when it opened) and the general manager let us know that the finance dept. had already apporved money for the new area.

(I know "finance dept aprroved it" sounds a little sketchy, but it was something similar to that.)

Anyhow, the exapansion was supposed to include a "master Blaster"-like attraction (similar to those at Schlitterbah in TX) and a wave river (also similar to the Torrent river at Schlitterbahn) This was rumored to be put in around the Castaway Cay area of Typhoon.

I know screamscape has had some "rumors" about this but I was curious if anyone has heard anything new.

All i heard was the stuff from screamscape.com. They have a picture of Typhoon Lagoon and they say the exspansion is sopposed to go behind the shark reef.

I really hope this happens.Typhoon Lagoon is a great water Park all it needs is a little update. and if they get these to world class attractions i think it will be in the travel chanels top ten water parks in america right behind blizzaed beach and schlitterban.
