Typhoon Lagoon/Blizzard Beach Question

When we go to the World in Sept. we are thinking of hitting a water park one day. We will have our two children 2 and 4. My questions are 1. Can children ride down some of the slides with their parents, and have any of you all ever done this before with your children 2. Which water park should we go to considering we have our children with us.
I have been to Blizzard Beach before I had my children and I loved it, but I have never been to Typhoon Lagoon. Thanks for all of the great info.

On the flip side however, I think TL has a bigger "kiddie" section, esp. for the 2 year old.
Although, the wave pool at BB is a lot calmer. Also, if you go to BB, make sure you put that sunscreen on twice as much, the white theming isn't too good for sun reflection.

Either way you go you should have fun. :)

Blizzard Beach is the newer park and has more family friendly rides.

Sorry, don't know the rehab schedule, but I thought one was down in December and the other in January.

I'm not trying to sound rude in any way, but there has to be at least 20 other posts about having kids and which waterpark to go to. Definitely do a search to check them out.

I would like to second that, a few years back I went to Blizzard Beach and my sunscreen crapped out on me, or I didn' re-apply enough but I ended up with 2nd degree burns, it was not fun, I just sat at home for another week after our trip crying in agony. Thankfully it was our last day at Disney, but yea re-apply, re-apply, and re-apply some more!

I would say typhoon lagoon....
1)ketchikity Creek would be execllent
2)The shallow area of the wave pool
3)Bay slides(smaller body slides)
4)the four year old could probally ride crush n gusher with you if he/she makes the height requirments
5)I think you can ride the storm slides together
6)the lazy river....(amazing...cood lay in there for hours:p )
7)they could play in the sand..
8) the four year old could ride the tube slides...
9)Maday falls.....Family raft ride...(rather slow and boring.:snore: )lol

Well thats my opinion

Have Fun.........
