Typhoon Lagoon and Bliz Beach ok for kids 3,6, & 8

My 4 kids are all under 8. We have a pool back at our rental, and the complex already has a pretty nice looking lagoon style pool.

Are the water parks mainly for teens, or is it an all ages get up? I.E. god for young kids?

With 3 days at Disney, and given my kids ages, are we better advised to take in them parks each day, or spend one day at the water parks, or somewhere else perhaps?

Typhoon Lagoon is great with younger kids - we took our daughter there for the first time at 2 and she had a blast. She can't wait to try Blizzard Beach this summer at 6.

But, with only 3 days - don't spend one at a water park. Not worth the time or the money for the option on the tickets.

If we just had three days with little kids, it would be a day and a half at Magic Kingdom, a day at Epcot, a day at Studios, and a half a day at Animal Kingdom. (OK, so that's four days. I just can't wrap my brain around only 3) Although, it really depends on the kids and what they like the most.

In my mind there really is no option here. With only three days and four parks, something is having to give already, without trying to throw a water park in the equation. Save the WPs for another time when you may have the chance of a longer stay

I disagree. Hit the waterparks. Just don't buy the waterpark option. It is a better deal to buy tics the day of.
