Two rooms - Two reservation numbers

Hi All,

I had a family member book two rooms for our upcoming trip and we were given two different confirmation numbers. I get having two different confirmation numbers since we have two rooms, but we booked them in the same transaction (from what I was told). Now when I go online to book fastpasses, etc it only lets me book for the people staying in one room...not for all of the party. It would have been much easier if we were all given one confirmation number for two rooms...that way everyone would be on one confirmation number. Does anyone have a workaround for this so we are able to book everyone fastpasses under the same account instead of using two different accounts?? Does anyone know if it's possible to book two rooms under one confirmation number?

sadly, each room is a completely separate reservation. I often book 2 rooms and have to deal with this. the people in the other room also need to have an MDE account, then you can invite them to share plans with you and you can make reservations for everyone, and control all the accounts.
see the MM+ forum on this website for full details.

I just did this in Sept, I booked both rooms but one room was in my name the other in my father in laws name. If you go into your MDE account and link both confirmations to your account you'll be able to see both rooms, then add all the family/friends into your account and it will let you make the FP selections for all. They don't have to have accounts in MDE either but if they do just have them check the share everything with you and you share all info with them. The only problem you might run into is if you get the invite to do the FP for BOG then you'll only be able to book for those in your room

We have two rooms this trip as well, and linking them both to the same MDE account allowed me to make FP+ selections for everyone. I'm the only one with an MDE account in our group.

Good luck @Cruiser237 - call MS if you can't get them linked.

I do not think there is a way to work around it. If you link both MDE accounts as family and friends and when you do your FP's, you all will show up. We also did this, booked 2 rooms together and each room is a separate package reservation. I am in 1 room and my sister and her DH in the 2nd room. I have my own MDE account and she has her own MDE account with her DH on it. So we just linked to eachothers and everything has been great as far as FP's and ADR's go!

Good luck!

We have everything booked through a UK tour operator and this includes two rooms in AKL. We have the same reservation number and linking tickets etc was easy.
I'm expecting linking the ADRs to be just as easy in January

There is a silver lining in this scenario: Sometimes members of our party will want different passes (i.e. some want 3 Day Hoppers and some want a pool day at the motel and just want 2 day hoppers). With 2 rooms and 2 ressies you can individualize the two groups for passes. Otherwise all members have to purchase the same passes. Corrrect?

Correct. Though even if you were all booked in the same room you could book everyone with the lesser number of days on the tickets and then add the needed days on some tickets after you check in. The only downside to that is that you won't be able to make FP+ choices for the extra days until you actually buy them.
