1) What is the nearest Grocery Store to the resort area? And where is it? I am staying at a Home Away from Home for the first time.

2) Is can you make priority seating arrangements (if that is what it is called now) at T-Rex?

1. 192 is full of Publix Supermarkets. It is also known as Irlo Bronson Hwy. Access is easy from the Disney property.
2. As far as I know, not until at least some time in 2009.

There is a Winn-Dixie at 11957 S Apopka Vineland Rd.(The intersection of Lake and Apopka Vineland Rd.).

If you come out of Hotel Plaza Blvd and take a left onto 535 and go North for a minute or 2(stay straight and don't follow 535 at Palm Parkway). It will be on the right.

T-Rex Restaurant is walk-up only. Sometime in 2009 is when they will start ADR's. I am looking forward to seeing this place in 3 weeks...it looks really cool.

Along these lines---do Florida supermarkets sell liquor, or just beer and wine?

Goodings is probably the closest but it's also the most expensive. As other posters mentioned you can find a Publix close by (which is what I prefer) and I know there's a Super Wal-Mart just south of Downtown Disney.

As far as liquor goes... I think it depends on the Supermarket. I have been in ones that just sell beer and wine and some that sell it all. It was a smaller local one in Sanibel that sold it all, so maybe the larger ones keep the hard stuff locked up to prevent theft or maybe I just never made it that far after finding the wine that I wanted.

Beer and wine is only sold in grocery stores. If you want hard liquor you have to go to a liquor store, it's Florida law.
