Two dining questions!

Nothing is booked yet but my fiancé and I know exactly where we want to stay, how long and which parks each day. We are planning on staying at Pop Centruy in October and taking the 1 quick serve/1 sit down meal plan. So here are my two questions

1) when free dining becomes available, will the plan I'm looking at be part of free dining for Pop? Or will it only be the 2 quick service meals since it's a value resort?
2) I would like to make at least one breakfast ADR at either 1900 Park Fare or Chef Mickeys. What is the best way to travel to these resorts from Pop and how much time should I allow for travel? Asking this now so I have an idea of what time to make the reservation for.

Rumor is that Free Dining will not be available during the month of October or the first part of November. of course, that is only a rumor, we should know for sure in a week or two.

At a Value Resort expect the 2 quick service meals only. You should be able to pay the difference to upgrade though.

In your case, I'd also look at the price difference at staying at a moderate resort if the free dining is offered. The upgrade to the higher level free dining plan could make that increased cost more palatable.

You can take a bus to the MK and then monorail to those locations (or just walk to the Contemporary).

I'm guessing 60-90 minutes travel time.

1. The free dining at value resorts is 2 quick serve meals per day, but you can pay the difference to upgrade (we did this last year and the up charge was less than $20/person per day.)

2. If you want to use Disney transport to either of those two restaurants for breakfast, take the bus from Pop to MK and board the resort monorail. Or you can walk to the Contemporary or use the boat to the GF. Allow yourself at least an hour; the first MK bus in the morning will be 7:30 am (earlier if it is an EMH morning.)

1. If free dining is offered it will be the quick service plan. You will need to pay the difference in price between the two if you want the DDP that includes 1 CS and 1TS.
2.It depends on what time your reservation is. For later reservations you can just take the bus to MK and the monorail to the resort. Travel time will be an hour plus. For an early reservation, check with the front desk as it is my understanding that they will have direct transportation for character breakfasts. Travel time can vary if you have multiple stops so allow at least an hour. If time is an issue, a cab can have you there in about 20 minutes.

Yes, ask the front desk the night before about the Breakfast Bus schedule. We once had a bus all to ourselves from the All-Stars to the Contemporary.
