Two addresses, two flights, and the same reservation?

Okay, so my friend and I have decided to take a trip to Disney the first week of May. She hasn't been since she was little and she's more of the go with the flow, follower types and I am the one who is a Disney nut and loves to plan stuff. We decided on the dates and what hotel and not getting the dining plan and all that Jazz, but now that we have all that settled we are wondering if anyone else has been in our situation.

We currently do not live in the same state. So does anyone have any idea how this would work for our luggage tags, magic bands and the disney magical express stuff? We plan to try and get flights that come in at roughly the same time, but it will be tricky since she is coming from across the country. I am assuming the best way is to just call Disney and explain the situation, but I was wondering if anyone else has been through this and if anyone has any tips for making it go smoother?

You could have band shipped to one of the two of you. Just grab from the other when landing if flights are around same time.

That was my other question. It's looking like I will get in roughly an hour before she will. Does the magical express have a specific time you have to get on by based on your flight time, or can I wander the stores for that hour and get on with her? I'm also curious because she's new to all of this and has never traveled alone, so I was thinking it could make her a bit less anxious too.

I think I've seen others say they've put their flights as later ones. You could say yall are on the later together. I highly doubt they check the manifest

You're not booked on a specific bus with Magical Express. You can easily wait an hour for your friend's flight to arrive before going down to the DME area. (What if, instead of waiting for someone, you'd decided to eat a sit-down lunch at one of the many restaurants in the airport?) No need to list later flight info.

As for luggage tags, Bands, etc, they will be mailed to the address on the reservation. It's up to you to distribute them to the rest of your party.

There is no link to a flight manifest. In most cases they don't even take your flight number. They just need to know the day you are requiring DME transport. Some people will come in late one day, stay at the airport hotel, and take the DME the next morning. As discussed in other threads, you don't even need to have arrived by plane to take the DME to the resort.

Would a travel agent that specializes disney be able to split up the tags and documents and send them to two different addresses? I believe when you book through a TA they get the packets from Disney then send them on to the customer.
