Turn down service

This is probably a silly question but I'm curious, is turn down service just "plain ol' turn down service" or does Mousekeeping do something "special" (we're staying at the Poly)? My DGD will get a kick out of turndown service either way but was just curious.

Also, how do you differentiate tips for Mousekeeping during the day and Mousekeeping for turndown if you are in the parks all day?:shrug:

I think its just regular turn down service of what I heard.

Just like with housekeeping, it depends on the person doing it. We have had turndown leave special little things or arrange thigns in the room or sometimes they just fold back the cover, arrange the pillows and leave chocolates. It is really up to the person who is doing it.

To tip Housekeeping you leave the tip in the morning on the pillow and after housekeeping has been by you can leave money on the pillow for turndown. If you are not staying concierge than turndown has to be requested each day.
