Turkery Legs in the Dining Plan

I've never used the dining plan nor have I ever had a turkey leg. So my question is, can you get a turkey leg with the dining plan, and if so, I assume it counts as a quick service meal, and so that being the case, do you still get a side, drink, and dessert with it?

Thanks

Disclaimer: this is pure speculation and guessing on my part-but, I would think it would be a snack, as at most of the places they sell turkey legs, there aren't options for sides and desserts. Unless you got a bag of chips and a frozen Coke.

More speculation and guessing, but I doubt that turkey legs are on the plan at all. But they are worth the extra $$ - do try one.

I may be wrong, but I think you've got it. They aren't on the plan at all. Even with the expanded snack offerings, they all still stop short of anything that could constitute a meal - for example the School Bread in Norway counts as a snack, but not the open faced sandwhiches. As much as I love turkey legs, I just wasn't hungry for one, and didn't feel like paying for one out of pocket when I was so well fed with the DDP. They are good though... :slurp:

in response to your question,no they are not available to buy at a restauraunt, they are only available at those quick serve stalls you see around the parks and water parks e.g. avalunch at blizzard beach, thats where i get my leg from.
i tryed to get a turkey leg at cosmic rays and at restaurantosaurus at AK last year but no such luck.
hope this helped

The turkey legs are only available at the counter services that sell them on the dining plan. Check the menus listed elsewhere here. As to the snack option - a snack is ONE item that is UNDER 4 dollars. There is also a list of that elsewhere on this website. Turkey legs are considerably more expensive than 4 dollars.
