Hi all, just wondered if there are any recent opinions on Turf Club? I know its probably not the most exciting location etc, but that's okay. Were kind of between that or Boatwrights just for a descent family birthday dinner without hoopla. Thanks.

Very relaxing and never rushed. Eaten there many times and never a bad meal. If the weather is nice, have a seat outside and watch the sun go down.

You are not going to come out saying "wow, that was one of the standout meals of my life" but you are also not going to come out saying "wow that was disappointing"
It is a solid option. It does have a fairly limited menu (as does more places at WDW now) so if you are staying at SSR and eating there frequently it can get old.

We've eaten there several times, most recently last December. I had the filet. Don't remember what Mrs. P had, but as I recall she liked it. As we are going this November I have been prowling the menus over on AllEars and much to my chagrin, they no longer offer the filet. Boatwrights is pretty good too. I like their Jambalaya.
