TSO and Disney?

This is just a idea I thought of for a LONG time now, and honestly not really sure why this does not happen, specially because Disney already plays their music for Christmas.

I am talking about the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Anyone that has seen this group in concert would know what I am talking about. Would it not be cool if Disney went in with Trans Siberian Orchestra and created a HUGE outdoor, or indoor light show for Christmas? or just a regular light show year round? Trans Siberain does do more than just Christmas music PLUS Disney could give Trans Siberian Orchestra permission to play Disney tunes as well! Would that not be awesome!

Every time I go to see Trans Siberian Orchestra in concert I think about Disney, SERIOUSLY. Now I know all that equipment is probably HIGHLY expensive but, between Disney and Trans Siberian, I am sure they could pull the finance part off. PLUS this would make Trans Siberian even more popular.

Just a thought!

Manheim Steamroller has already done a Disney tune album and I would imagine that since Manheim and Trans Si are someone similar in genra, they probably would not. But I agree, that would be cool.

I think it would be a GREAT idea, but my guess is that both parties would want to retain the creative license - meaning they would each want everything done THEIR way. Somehow neither of the two gives me the impression of "willing to compromise and work together".

I have CD's from both of these groups..and they really are not that much alike....Mannheim Steamroller is more synth music and kinda laid back. Where Trans Siberian Orchestra is a big rock band with string instruments...Yes they do both have lots of insturmental music...but different genres.

But anyway...TSO doing Disney would be kickin' going to see them on Nov 24th...third year in a row...Floor seats 3rd row...can't wait

I use Trans Siberian Orchestra music along with my Light O Rama controllers for my christmas lights at my house. I believe that starting last year the Osborne Lights use those same controllers to sync the lights with the music. I cant remember what kind of music was used at Epcot for the archway lights since its been a couple years ssince I was lucky enough to visit during the holidays.

Several of the "Dancing" portions of the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights last year featured TSO songs. It was pretty spectacular.

Yep, last year they used Christmas Eve Sarjevo and Mad Russian Christmas from TSO for the spectacle of lights at D/MGM (DHS).
