TSL and MK in one day

We are thinking about add TSL to our MK day because so far wait times have been a lot shorter than we expected. It will however, be our only day at MK. MK's hours for that day are 8-11. HS's hours are 7-8 emh and regular hours 8-10:30. We definitely want to see HEA so we'd probably rope drop TSL at 7, hit up those three rides, then head over to MK. We aren't rollercoaster people so we won't worry about doing SM, BTMR, and SDMT. We have FP's for the rides we really want to do, but would like to do as much as possible. We are going late July. How have rope drop crowds been so far from those who have already gone to TSL? Is it likely crowds will go down much more in the next few weeks? I've heard from several people that the posted wait times are longer than their actual wait times so I'm not prepared to trust those just yet. Could this work? Or would it be too much in one day? We're two adults by the way. Thanks for any and all advice!

I think it's totally do-able for 2 adults. Arrive no less to HS an hour before the EMH park opening. Most likely you will be able to enter TSL earlier.

Wait, if you don't do coasters would that mean Slinky Dog is out? Toy Story Land
(and the park transit time) would be a tough sell for me without its signature ride, especially if I'd be giving up Magic Kingdom time... AND fork over the money for park hopper passes.

We’d definitely do Slinky. Kiddie coasters are fine, but we’ve done SDMT before and once was enough for us especially with it being hard to get FPs and stand by lines being so long.

If we rope dropped HS we’d probably want to take a midday break or maybe wait until after the parade and then go. We’re staying at a Disney Springs hotel so I don’t know if I’d want to take the time to go back to our hotel. Are there any good break places to go on the monorail loop for a few hours even if you’re not staying at a resort? We might be there for either lunch or dinner and would want to do a quick service place. I just know it’s going to be a long, hot day since we’re going in late July and we will probably be up from 5:30 to 11:00

About the Slinky Dog Dash..............It isn't a kiddie coaster actually :). It sits between Big Thunder and SDMT as far as thrills go but I would give it a try if I were you.

Of course there are! The Contemporary Resort! Everything in a big "avenue", lots of shops and restaurants all in one place and air-conditioned. I would go to the Contemporary if I were you.
