Truth or rumor

I was told that all resorts within the WDW grounds include tickets to the parks. Is this truth or just a rumor ?

Only if you purchase tickets, like the Ultimate Park Hopper (conveintly in the dreammaker packages). You can Book a room only and buy tickets seperately both at the same time from 407-W-Disney. You dont HAVE to purchase the package.

Its possible to get a room only and purchase your tickets elsewhere. Like through AAA or the Disney Store.

KingdomKonsultants.com and Mousesavers.com has much more info on how to do all this.

Original Disney Vacation Club memberships also included Park Hopper tickets when you used your DVC points to stay on property. That feature expired (I think, and I may have the date wrong) at the end of 1999.

As mentioned you need to get the Ultimate Park Hoppers in your package. We do this everytime as we like to have the ability to go from park to park all the time. We are going for 10 days on our next trip and want the ability to go every day. We rarely go to water parks, just the 4 main parks.

mrtoad, you might want to compare prices of a 10-day UPH vs an annual pass.

I think that the break even point is 7 or 8 days. You might save money on your passes, plus get some annual passholder perks.

We are looking at that for our next trip. We are working with Kingdom Konsultants and whatever the best deal is, we are taking it. If they are offering a better hotel discount for AP holders we will do that, if none at that time we will probably go the Hoppers. I just hope we get a good deal. Right now there are some nice deals for the end of this year, I hope them carry some over for when we go at the end of Jan begining of Feb.
