Tron Merch in WDW shops???

We're heading down to WDW in a couple of weeks and plan on doing some holiday shopping while we are down there. Our nephew is going crazy for all the TRON stuff that is out, the commercials, etc. I was wondering if anyone has seen any TRON merchandise in any of the WDW stores? I know that sometimes WDW can actually have less stuff than you can find in your local Target, but if anyone had noticed anything at all, or even better, Disney park exclusive, it might make me want to plan on doing shopping for that while we are down there.

I did a quick search on this and didn't see anything specific that was not related to the elecTRONica at DCA, so I thought I'd post it. If it's been covered, happily send me to the right link and I'll be on my way...

Sadly, the answer is pretty much no right now. At Disneyland and DCA you could easily, but it looks like they're taking their sweet time here. I'm sure they will eventually, but who knows how long it could take them. Right now you're best chance is the D-Street store at Downtown Disney, which should have some classic TRON T-Shirts and maybe some of the new vinyalmation Tron Legacy designs, but I think that's about it. I don't go to Downtown Disney enough to know if World of Disney or Once upon a toy has them in yet, but I know for a fact Studios and EPCOT are TRON-less.

As you said, right now Target, as well as Toys R Us, K-Mart, and Wal-Mart are the places to be looking for TRON Legacy, as they should be well stocked. Target even has the 7" figures on sale right now.

I just remembered that this week a "Countdown" pin is released, so as the weeks go by your chances for stuff increases at least.

Team Mickey at Downtown Disney has a display of Tron themed Shirts and Board shorts made by a skate/surf company, either Billabong or Rusty. I went on Saturday and that was the first time I had noticed them. From what I saw, the shirts are black with blue/silver Tron designs on them, and the shorts matched up with the shirts. They have blue Tron-esqe tags on them, as well as the standard Disney tag. That is the only place I have seen any Tron items so far, though I'm sure they sell items in other places as well. Maybe check Mouse Gear in EPCOT as well. Hope that helps!

Thanks. I'll def take a look around DTD to see if they have anything. At the very least, I know that we can find the gifts local and ye' ol' big box shops. Sometimes it's just fun when you can get one of those "park exclusive" gifts for someone. I'll keep an eye out, maybe they will stock more closer to the release date. Otherwise, Target / Toys-R-Us it is...
