I'm addicted. I had a whole bunch of stuff I needed to do on Labor Day, and I spent the entire day playing Tron.
The graphics are amazing. The sound and music are straight from the original movie and greatly improved. The plot is quite good, and the control system is excellent.
One of the neat ideas is the way you can use powerups. You have to configure your powerups depending on the type of system you're in (mainframe, network hub, PDA, etc). Also, all of the powerups have build levels, Alpha, Beta and Gold. Obviously, Gold powerups (called 'subroutines') are more powerful than Alpha powerups.
Another neat idea is your version number. You start out as 'Jet 1.0' and can add build points by completing tasks and picking up build point powerups thoughout the various levels. As you reach the next version level (Jet 2.0 for example), you can upgrade yourself by raising your health, weapon, CPU and other levels. The choices you make really have an effect on how the game is played.
Almost forgot! There are Lightcycle levels that you will get to play, and those levels can be played online as well.
Highly recommended, although you need some serious hardware to play it.
