For those considering trips in January 2005 or 2006 keep this in mind.
The Homebuilders Expo will take place around January 14 thru 18, 2005 at the convention center. Approximately 80,000 people will converge on the Orlando area. Rooms are already in short supply. International Drive, Buena Vista Blvd, Universal and many of the resorts at WDW are already booked for this event.
I have several friends who are going to this event and they have had a very difficult time trying to get a room.
This same event will also be held in January 2006. Exact dates have not been set.
