Well, I'm back from my wonderful 8 day vacation. I'm very tired so this trip report probably won't be too long. But here it goes...

Wednesday 19th - We arrived at our hotel at night after our 1st plane had air valve problems and our luggage was sent somewhere else. We did receive our luggage which was a big load off our shoulders and the check-in at the Beach Club was easy. One of the main reasons we stayed at the Beach Club was because it could accomodate 5 people in one room. So, we were told it had two queen size beds and a day bed. Well, we get into the room and what do we find? A couch, not a day bed but a couch. But anyways after being a little dissapointed we wanted a quick shower before getting into bed. We turn on the water and just our luck, the hotel ran out of hot water. So we just decided to go to bed without a shower.

The Beach Club is a nice resort. I was not impressed with the rooms but the pool was awsome. Never in my life have a seen such a large pool at a resort or hotel.

Thursday 20th - We were pretty tired so we just stayed around the pool, ate at Beaches and Cream and went to MGM Studios at night. RNRC had a 60 minute wait so we got a fastpass for that ride while we rode Tower of Terror which had a 15-20 minute wait. We also rode The Great Movie Ride which was very slow and boring but kept us out of the rain. Then we ate dinner at Mickey's Backyard BBQ and had our pictures taken with Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, and Goofey. I tell you what, I'm 6 foot 3 and Mickey and Minnie are like 4 ft tall. They're extremelly small.

By the way, it rained everyday I was there. Not one dry day went by any of the 8 days. Somewhat dissapointing but it really kept the lines down for rides.

Friday 21st - Got up early and headed to Epcot. Of course it rained so we ended up going on Spaceship Earth 3 times. Which by the way had a 10-15 minute line. Then we went on Honey I Shrunk the Audience which we got right on with no wait. JIYI had no wait either so we got right on that ride too. We did Test Track once and it was my first time on it. It's such and awsome ride. And for lunch we ate at the Coral Reef. Boy, let me tell you. I sure enjoyed choosing from a menu with 5 items on it. So many choices. Anyways, after that we went to the E-Ride night at Magic Kingdom and rode Space Mountain 6 times in a row and every other ride that was open. We had a blast.

Saturday 22nd - Typoon Lagoon. What can I say, It rained, there was lighting, park closed. Oh well. MGM here we come. Rode ToT 11 times because of the rain, there were no lines. RnRc 3 times. It was an awsome night. Ate at Sci-Fi Dine In, really cool place to eat.

Sunday 23rd - Animal kingdom, I'm sorry, I don't care what people say, it is a zoo. I can walk around the San Diego zoo and do the same things. Disney knew it was a zoo, why did you think they put "Nahtazu" on the park map? Anyways, It was fun until it rained and we had no choice but to leave. Kali River Rapids was a 5 minute wait, Primevil Whirl really beat the "crap" out of us and it had a 10 minute wait. Oh yeah, we were suppose to eat at the Luau, but it was cancelled due to rain. So we ate at Ohana.

We later went on to Downtown Disney and and MGM again to eat at Pizza Planet. The trip was good except for the rain. On Tuesday we left Disney and went to Universal Studios and IOA. Universal sure has them beat on rides, but Disney is way ahead in employee polietness. Anyways, that's pretty much my trip report. If I forgot anything I'll post it. Enjoy:D :) :D :D

Did you check the couch to see if it folded into a bed? The day bed pulls out from the bottom of the beds.

Have you ever been to WDW before? Not to sound rude or anything, but it seems like you ran around a lot. Beaches and Cream is good though!

I have to disagree with you about Animal Kingdom, but that's my favorite park, so...I guess different strokes for different folks.

Thunderstorms can almost be expected everyday in Flordia. The humitidy, etc. are breeding grounds for rain.

Oh well, glad you had fun!

Funny you should mention running around a lot. Many thought we did a lot for the 5 days we were there. Yes, we have been to Disney World before we just wanted to get everything in since we were traveling with 3 other people who have never been before. Plus having reservations at different parks didn't help either. I have never walked so much in my life. I've got 6 blisters on my feet from the wetness and walking. It was still fun though.

And we did try to pull the bed out, but it was all solid wood. We even asked the front desk if there was a secret button or something we were missing. But nope, that was the bed.

I guess it rained a lot because we were in the middle of a Tropical Storm. Just our luck.:animwink:
