Trip Report Trip Report - Take Two

I am not nearly as talented in writing detailed, interesting reports as so many of you are so let me just summarize the highlights for you all. There were 6 in my group with my sister popping in briefly to make us 7. We stayed at the Finding Nemo suites and it was quite lovely. Even with 6 adults staying in the room we were all comfortable. Having 2 bathrooms certainly helped tremendously. Mousekeeping each day was thorough and we have no complaints. Our room looked out onto the children's splash pool and it was a lovely sight each day.

We arrived on April 13, a week before Easter and I was dreading the crowds we would have to endure. Surprisingly enough, there were no issues with crowds at all. We never waited more than 10 minutes for any transportation and a few times we were the only folks on the bus or ferry. We even had bus drivers call our position in to the next driver to hold the bus for us so we wouldn't have to wait long. I walk with a cane so I'm not the fastest walker but many drivers waited for us as they saw me struggling to get to the stop.

We had the DDP which I would not recommend to any but the heartiest of eaters. It is just way too much food! I actually had all 14 of my snack credits left on our last day so I stopped into a sweets shop on Main St on MK and picked 14 items to take home. It worked well since it was Easter Day and we were going home to have dinner with the folks who did not come with us so instant Easter basket for them all. One of the best dining experience we had was Le Cellier. It started poorly because they did not seat us in a timely manner although we did have 6:45 reservations. We never got seated until 7:30 but the manager told us the first round of drinks was complimentary to make up for the long delay. And after we were seated she had the waiter bring us a plate of poutine, also complimentary! Our waiter, Jared, was terrific. The food was superb! We had the duck, the filet, and the rib eye. All delicious.
Another excellent experience was Boma. You need to be just mildly adventurous to enjoy the excellent selections at this buffet. The soups were excellent. The desserts scrumptious!
The only truly bad dining experience was at Ragland Road. We were seated at the only table that did not have a view of the dancers. The waitress was nothing short of awful. Even the manager did nothing more than say he would try to get our meals out shortly (after waiting 90 minutes!). Nothing we were served was worth the wait. Truly disappointing.

I did purchase Memory Maker and I would recommend this. We got so many wonderful photos!

FP+ was a breeze to use and we never waited more than 5 minutes to get on any ride. And why has no one mentioned the single rider lines? They were fantastic! We used them for Test Track when the stand by line was 70 minutes, and at EE when the stand by line was 90 minutes! The CMs in Test Track mentioned several times that if you were in line with someone else you would be split up. That was not an issue for my daughter and I but more than once we ended up being in the same car. And we waited no more than 15 minutes! Love the single rider lines!

The only reason I would avoid going when we did is because of price. There were no discounts at all for that week so we paid extremely high room rates. What it cost per person for that week is what it will cost me for 3 adults and 1 infant the last week in October. So I'll be headed back down in less than 6 months!

Great start to the report. Great to hear the Le Cellier turned out to be good, I have been trying to get my wife to go there on our next trip. Pictures to come soon?
