Trip Report - Oympus D-510

This is a quick one.I am a long time Nikon fan and user. However, when I recently decided to go digital, after much research and reading of reviews, I chose an Olympus D-510, based on features and price. Well - I am just back from WDW and am completely impressed by this camera. I was worried about battery life. One set of NiMh rechargeables went 8 days and 250+ pictures! Here is a sample (taken from the train). Man, I love this camera!

AWESOME PIC

Im an ametur photographer and I love messing around with digital images but i have no digital camera...
maybe you can tell me where you found it and what other cameras you looked at?
thats an amazing image and im REALLY impressed with the quality

I can't wait to take my digital camera back. I love regualar film, and it was hard to switch over. but now I can't stop taking pictures!

did you bring them on any more rides? and if so, how did it work? I want to bring mine on too (holding tight, of course) to see what I can get. I am really hoping to get a picture of the outlook from ToT!

I got it at CompUSA. It was a good $100 cheaper than other 2 Megapixel cameras, such as the Nikon CoolPix 750. It is also quite small and very easy to use.

I got mine on line, and the model I have is no longer made, as it now has a newer, cheaper version out. I think it is called an Elf110, canon.
