Well it's finally time for me to write a trip report. My family and i had a wonderful time at disney and are sad that it is all over:cry: . Sorry but i will be putting my trip report in sections just to make it easier for me. Anywho i hope you guys enjoy reading about my adventures in the happiest place on earth.:)

Day 1- My family and i arrived in Orlando at about 2 o'clock and quickly got over to the beach club. Lucky us, we were bumped up to concierge level. We put our bags in our room and brought out our bathing suits so we could have a quick swim before travelling to Epcot. Before arriving at the pool i made a detour to beaches n' cream for a chocolate milkshake since i have been dreaming about them for a year. After our swim we walked over to Epcot. My brother and decided to try the new figment ride while the parents walked around the food and wine festival. I like it! it's very cute and the ending was very surprising! Of course it's not as good as the original with dream finder. We then made our way to spaceship earth. I thought the tv screens kinda took away the "space travel" feel. To my surprise i found a hidden mickey! wahoo. i can't believe how proud you feel after you find one. We then made our way over to Mexico for our PS. The food I ate was alright, not as good as I remembered but still good. The most surprising thing was the coke. I never knew how much of a difference Canadian coke and American coke have. American coke is much more syrupy. Anywho we finished dinner and jumped on the monorail over to magic kingdom to watch spectromagic. This is my favourite parade. It was the only night of our stay it would be showing so we had to go see it. After the parade we went on wed way people mover (ya ya the TTA). I love this ride! We then went over to space mountain. The line up was about 30 min and was probobly the longest wait of our whole trip. By this time it was closing so we walked into the main street shops and both my brother and I bought a magical moments pin. I had a lot of trouble with it but you will hear about it in the other trip report days. We then took the bus back to the beach club. Before I went to sleep i noticed a horrible stain and chunks missing from the wall. Kinda gross but since we were given concierge we decided "who cares?".

i will write day two soon:) Hopefully you enjoyed day one! if you have any questions feel free to ask away

day 2- I was up by 6:30 with all the excitement of being at Disney world. I had nothing to do but wait so i decided to go for a jog around the boardwalk, beach club, swan and dolphin. I am not a runner so i had no idea what I was doing but i went anyway just to have a new experience. I have to say that I had a lot more fun jogging at Disney then at home. I got to talk to many of the cast members working outside, all of which were extremely friendly. After my jog i went to pick up some breakfast. I ate and then left for magic kingdom. The first thing we did was go buzz light year. We have a contest every year. The winner in the family gets the privilege to brag all through out the trip. Well my father won this round with a score of 999,999. The rest of the family was not even close. The whole trip my dad would not stop telling us about how he is a galactic hero. I am sure we are still going to here about it at home too. My brother and I then went over to Space Mountain. Then we did it again. Then one more time after that. We waited for about 2 min every time. This was the least business I had ever seen Disney World. We then went over to frontier land. The line up for thunder was 20 min so we got a fast pass and rode splash first. I love splash but it is in need for a huge rehab! Half the animatronics were not working and things had fallen over everywhere. It was really sad to see. After riding thunder we went to get a bite to eat. I had herd through this site a place near the haunted mansion had veggie chili in a bread bowl, so I went hunting for it. I found it but can’t remember the place it was. It was pretty good. Very BIG though. I finished about ¼ of it before I was full. My brother and I then decided to go to MGM and catch the parade as well as ride tower of terror so we hoped on the bus and left magic kingdom. The first thing we did at MGM was ride TOT, my ultimate favorite ride. We walked right on! We then went over to rock in roller coaster where we walked right on again. We even got the back seat, my favourite. We then went over to The great movie ride. I love it, especially the finally of movies at the end. By then it was time to sit for the parade. So we got lemonade and took a seat. The parade was very good. I liked it better then the magic kingdom one. We left the park after the parade and went back o the hotel. We had 1 hour to get ready for Mickey’s not so scary Halloween party. I put on all my Halloween cloths and did my makeup all dark. We then went to the bus stop.

How did you get bumped up to concierge? Some of my family is staying at the Beach Club and I'll be at the Wilderness Lodge next week. Will we have a problem swimming at each others pools? All the cousins want to be able to swim together. Sounds like you had a great trip!

Day 2 Mickeys not so scary Halloween party-When I walked into the magic kingdom I was shocked. The decorations and lighting all created in a short hour was amazing. It was very spooky with the haunted mansion music playing in the background. We went on Pirates of the Caribbean first and then got our picture taken. We headed over and did splash again. There was no wait at all! In fact they even asked us if we wanted to go on again when we were done. I declined since I wasn’t in the mood to get soaked. We went over the riverboat because we herd that it was different for the Halloween party. The line up was huge but everyone got on. We got a picture with chip and dale dressed as cowboys and the listened to band playing Halloween music. After we left the dock a spooky women dressed in a old lace dress and very pale white face makeup told us a story of a witch and a gambler all of which took place on the boat. She was an excellent storyteller! After the ride there was the biggest lineup to get off the boat. It was insane. Everyone was pushing and shoving to get a candy a CM was passing out. We were lucky that we were one of the first people off or we would have been there for have the night waiting for candy. I then went to Tomorrow land. Walked right on space mountain. We continued to do the rest of the rides in T Land and then went to get a spot for the parade. WOW! That headless horseman was fast. I hardly saw him at all. The parade was really good. It is definitely up there with Spectromagic. We stayed in the park till 12 o’clock when it closed and did all the rides we missed the first day. The night was great. I liked it better then the Christmas party! My top 3 favourite Halloween costumes I saw that night are…( drum roll please!)

a girl dressed up as a fast pass. Very original.

a family dressed up as the cast from peter pan. The father captain hook, the mother peter pan, the brother john and the sister wendy. They looked identical to the characters. The costumes were really well done.

3 women dressed as flora fauna and merryweather from sleeping beauty. There costumes were extremly well done. They even made them there selves.

The party was great and i recommend to everyone. I had a blast!:)

It was just luck to get bumped up to concierge. They said they needed space so we got lucky and were moved. with the beach club pool you need to show your resort ID and you recieve an arm band to wear while swimming. You may have a problem getting around this if you all want to swim in the beach club pool. good luck

Day 3- I decided to sleep in a bit since I had only been getting 6 hours of sleep since I left home but as soon as I got up and ready I was off to Epcot. I wanted to see journey into the imagination again so that was the first stop. I then headed over to test track. No wait. We walked right on. This ride is so much fun. Before I didn’t really like it but this trip I loved it. So after the first time, I went again because there was no wait. We then went to Universe of energy. Last time I rode UOE, it broke down at the dinosaur area for 45 min but this time there were no problems. There wasn’t any sulfur smell either. We then went to play in the wonders of life pavilion. This place was dead. Hardly anyone was there. There were no exhibits and nothing was really working so we did the bikes where you tour Disneyland, cranium command and then left. I love the house of future in inoventions (I not sure if that’s its real name) so I wanted to get a tour of it but the lineup was huge. I have never seen a wait for it before but today it was twisting and turning so I skipped it. We decided this would be a good time for ice station cool. This was my first time to experience it. It was freezing in that tunnel! I tested all the pop (soda) they had and found all of them were gross. But the ultimate disgusting drink was Italy’s. I couldn’t believe how gross it was. With the horrible taste left in my mouth I went over to the land pavilion for some food. The lineup for living with the land was 20 min so we got a fast pass, some food and sat down to eat. After lunch we still had some time to kill so we went to see food rocks. I love the show but it just looks like cardboard cutouts moving up and down. It was less Disney more backyard puppet show. We used our fast pass and went on the land. This ride is so interesting! The pumpkins they grew were huge. I really wanted to see the manatee at the living seas but I decided to pass because I didn’t like the movie very much and there was no sea trams anymore. Instead I went walking around world showcase. I decided to buy watermelon water from the food and wine festival stand at Mexico. It tasted just like it sounds, Watermelon and water. I took about 5 sips before throwing it out. My next stop was at Norway where we rode the troll ride and watched the movie. The movie isn’t that bad, I can’t figure out why people wouldn’t want to watch it. I then stopped briefly at America for honey lemonade from the festival stand. I should have learned from the watermelon water because I took 5 sips and past it on to my brother. My brother happily excepted and drank the whole thing. By this time my feet hurt and I was ready to go back to the beach club so we left Epcot got our bathing suits on and went to the less crowded pool to swim.:)

Day 3 continued- We had received tickets for La noubla, the cirque de soliel show on Monday for 6 o'clock. This show was amazing. I have never seen a cirque de soliel show but I always herd great reviews so my expectations were pretty high. I was not disappointed. The show was absolutely amazing. I would explain it in detail but for those of you who plan to see it I would not want to spoil it.
Our seats were up top (perfect for this type of show) because you get to see everything and boy was there a lot to see. My eyes couldn’t focus on just one thing. There was so many things going on at once that I didn’t know what to look at. I struck up a conversation with the person sitting next to me before the show. Turns out his son happened to design the costumes for the show. He told me that the acrobat who performed on the chairs was 54. I could only wish I could do that! The little girls who performed and the BMXer were also amazing. This show was excellent and I highly recommend it!

After the show we had PS at portabello Yacht Club. We strolled down the West Side, stopping by the magnet shop and a few others. We sat outside because of the warm temperatures that night and I wasn’t used to the freezing air-conditioned restaurants. I ate a portabello mushroom (very nice) and some fettuccini Alfredo (very good). After dinner we strolled down to the market place. I really wanted to see once upon a toy so I went there first. I wish I had much more time here. I never really got a chance to look around which was very disappointing but I did get a Mr. Potato head. It was so much fun shoving the pieces into the box. It became a challenge to close the box after I got all the pieces in but I managed to do it. The last place we went that night was McDonalds. For some reason I love reading McDonald menus. They are very different everywhere. For example New York has a Mcveggie but no other state does. Canada has a healthy eating menu but Florida doesn’t. It’s different everywhere so I like to stop by and see what they have. Weird eh?

I forgot to mention that today was the first day for the pin problems. As I had said early I bought a magical moment’s pin the first day I got to Disney world. Well the backings were not working and it kept falling off so I couldn’t wear it. It got shoved in my bag for the whole day which sucked.

I gotta agree with you on that...I travelled throughout Europe for a month and everywhere I went I visited a McDonald's. The menus are all different and even the same items (for example, chicken mcnuggets) will taste different in different countries. Very interesting.

Day 4- Did MGM today. Got there 5 min after opening and started with TOT did that twice and moved on to RNR. There was no line up for either. I then went to the hat (which I like) to see if they could replace the faulty backing I had on my pin. They gave me a plastic one but how long do you think that stayed on for? Lasted about 20 min before I realized it had fallen off. So once again I had to shove my pin in my bag. I ate a nice cheese danish at starring roles for breakfast. YUMMY! I wanted to ride the great movie ride but the lineup was huge. It was at least 45 min so I passed. Instead I went to see millionaire. I was number 5 in the top ten. Wahoo, I felt proud. After the show I wanted to see one mans dream. It was so interesting. I loved the little facts and displays and I honestly would have spent an hour in there reading each one but the weirdest thing happened. Everyone was evacuated from the building due to dangerous fumes. Weird. So we went to see the little mermaid show but that too was evacuated. We then decided to go on the backstage tour. I loved the display at the end with all the villains from films. I couldn’t believe how small Madonna’s costume was. She is so tiny! I loved the Oggie Boogie puppet. After the backstage tour I went to see the muppets. I still love it especially the old men. By this time I had to head back to the hotel and get ready for the flying fish. Dinner there was wonderful. I probably had the best meal of my life and I don’t usually like fish. After dinner we all walked over to Epcot to catch illuminations. To our luck the parade was still happening so we ended up seeing half of tapestry of dreams. True it wasn’t as good as the original but it was still good. We then took our spot for illuminations. It was a pretty long wait so to past the time I read cheesy pickup lines off my cell phone. Everyone was laughing, even people listening in our conversation. Finaly Illuminations started. Breathtaking! I felt the Disney spirit in every way possible. What a way to end the night.:)

I'm troubled....

Thank you so much for your report! :sohappy:

I know that all of us around the boards who haven't actually been to WDW in awhile really appreciate it!

I am a bit troubled though...

A concierge room with damaged walls and stained carpeting? That is absolutely awful! I know you didn't have to pay for the upgrade (and I'm glad), but the powers that be should be sooo ashamed for letting an expensive room get into such horrid shape.

Bad show Disney.....

:(

Day 5- the last full day at Disney. We started at animal kingdom bright and early and headed straight for the safari because we herd the animal were more active then. Boy were they right. Every animal was up and moving around. A rhino came a bit to close for comfort when he decided to run across the path. This ride is so amazing. One of the best at Disney. It could definitely do without the story line. I am too busy watching the animals to pay attention to big red. Moving on we went to Asia to ride the river rapids. No line up here. Went straight on. I was in one of the good spots so I didn’t get to wet. After the ride I pulled out my pin to see if maybe I could figure out a way to wear it without it falling off. Well the pointy part where you stick the back fell completely off and the other backing which had worked all right before, failed to work now. Once again the pin was shoved back in the bag. After we headed over to dinoland to see the new Chester and Hester part. Not very dinseyish but I still liked it. It was amazing all the details they put in to make it look nasty and old like the holes and parking spaces. We waited about ten min for the roller coaster type ride (the one that spins around) Well worth the wait. I loved it! It was so much fun. Well it started to rain just as we were getting on so we had to do the whole thing in the poring rain. My effort to stay dry at the river rapids was useless. We were soaked by the time we got off but everyone was laughing and having a great time. While everyone else in the park was huddled to stay dry, we risked it and ran to dinosaur. All of us were freezing and wet. Even the smart one in the family who brought a rain jacket was soaked. As soon as we stepped into the building the air conditioning turned us all into Popsicle’s. It was cold! We rode dinosaur and then went to get something to eat at the McDonalds across from it. There wasn’t much for a vegetarian to eat so I had a few fries. They did have a vegetarian platter upon request but I wasn’t in the mood for a piece of broccoli with a tomato on a paper plate. So anyway the rain let up in about an hour. Very lucky for us or it would have ruined our plans to watch the parade at magic kingdom. We decided to do Chester and Hestor one more time since there was no wait. We all came off laughing and smiling like the first time but I had cut my elbow on the side of the car. We stopped so I could bandage it up since it was bleeding on my cloths. We decided to see it’s tough to be a bug as the last thing in animal kingdom. That show rocks. I have seen it probably ten times and still love it. Well our day at animal kingdom was over but the day had not yet ended. I still have to write about the parade at magic kingdom and the weirdest yet coolest invitation I received at MGM (if that made any sense) so check back later when I’m finished writing.:)

I agree it was gross but we decided not to push our luck. it was behind the curtain so it wasn't very visible and i knew we could live with it. Disney should have fixed it before though

Day 5 continued- We left Animal Kingdom and went straight to Magic Kingdom to watch the parade. We found a good spot and sat down with a nice lemonade and a Mickey ice cream sandwich. The parade started and I was happy and excited. The parade was pretty cheesy but Disney cheese so I could deal. I got a nice pat on the head from Dopey and Tweedle Dee. After the parade we hopped on the monorail to the Transportation and ticket center and the got on a bus to MGM. We only had a few hours here so I went straight to one mans dream to finish it since last time I was evacuated from the building. A loved the movie. It made me appreciate Walt Disney even more. Well we only have about two hours left so we decided how many times we could ride TOT. Each time we saw this one particular cast member, but I can’t remember the name. He would say something like “again?” or “next time your gunna have to pay” well the sixth time we rode TOT we had a conversation during the movie in the library. We talked about how I would love to work here and that TOT is my fav ride. Well anywho he was like “well at 7:30 after the park closes me and the other CM ride TOT over and over again for like an hour. If you’re still around maybe you could come ride with us?” I had to decline since I was meeting up with the rest of the family later. Are CM’s aloud to invite you after park hours? I have never had an invitation like that before. Has anyone else experienced this? I would love to know! Well that night we all went to California Grill for the last meal. Very nice but also depressing since it was the last night we were there. Wonderful meal but the place was freezing. We all went to play a round of mini gold and fantasia Gardens. It was a nice way to end the night. BY the end we were all laughing and singing songs.

All and all it was a wonderful trip to Disney. Couldn’t have asked for better weather each day it was in the high 80s or low 90s. The pin problem was a pain though. I finaly got it replaced. Now I have a pin still in it’s wrapper sitting on my dresser. I didn’t get much use out of it. I hope one of you guys could answer my question about the invitation I got. And hopefully this trip report wasn’t too boring. Thanx for reading

While I don't know if CM's are supposed to invite guests back to the park after-hours, I do know that I'd have been all over that deal!!!

I LOVE TOT!!!!! :D
