First of all let me start off by saying we had a wonderful time. Great weather (not one drop of rain), absolutley no lines (everything that we really liked we did twice) and everyone working at the parks and hotel were very friendly and helpful.
day one/ wed.
we arrived at the AS movies at about 11:00 a.m checked our luggage and headed straight for epcot. We rode everything that we wanted to with no wait, and did just about everything including most of the countries. I got to ride test track for the first time and it quickly became one of my all time favorites (very fast and very cool).
day two/thurs.
Arrived at the Magic kingdom just as it was opening. I have never gotten there that early so watching them officially open the park was quite a treat. My wife got goose bumps. It was her and my daughter's first time at disney. Once again no lines and great weather. We got to ride splash mountain three times (very fun, now my daughter's favorite. We rode all the mountains and potc twice, saw pretty much everything else and finished up with fantasy in the sky. All in all a wonderful, memorable day.
Day three/fri
Arrived at mgm just as it was opening. This was our least favorite park. We had a great time, but after the magic kingdom I guess nothing would stack up. RnR is amazing ToT is a beautiful attraction and the theming is pretty cool, but the droping isn't my thing. My daughter loved all of the shows especially beauty and the beast.
Day four/fri( final day)
Did AK in less than half of a day, ate lunch at flametree(very good)
Went back to hotel to rest up, went back too epcot late in the evening and finished up a wonderful trip with illuminations (talk about putting a cherry on top of wonderful trip).

Thanks for the trip report. We go next Saturday for a 8 day trip. I hope of course no lines and no rain. Last time we went at Thanksgiving 2001 the crowds were unbearable. As they thinned out our 9 day trip got a whole lot nicer!!! Did the EE start back up on October 1?

Yes, it did, but when we were there, there was no need to take advantage of it. Plus, I've never seen so many characters around the parks as there were on this trip. At EPCOT, we took more than enough pictures of our kids with characters. Maybe we just got lucky.
