I hope this is posted in the correct area, because this is my first attempt at a report. Just returned from celebrating my parent's 40th anniversary at WDW. We stayed at the Yacht club which was just delightful!
We at our first dinner at Le Cellier which was amazing as usual. We were able to see a lot of future world the first afternoon (we arrived early in the morning). The crowds were manageable.
We spent the second day at AK - boy was it hot! The highlights were the Nemo and Lion King shows. We also watched the parade. It is a nice parade, we haven't really stayed that long to see it on past trips.
Dinner was at Boma, and then to Epcot for EMH - to ride Test Track. Boy - we got in line right around 9, and when we came out - the line was huge. I can see why people get frustrated - there isn't that much open at EMH at Epcot.
The third day was MK, swimming at the pool and O'hana. It is really amazing how much you can do at the MK before noon. We were really surprised to be able to move through the park. We had to wait for Pirates though - it was really crowded.
Thursday my husband and father played golf, and my mom and I had breakfast at the Grand Floridian - then to Downtown Disney. It was great. We had dinner at the Brown Derby - another highlight. Then we saw the 10:30 Fantasmic - WOW - talk about very few people. I don't think I will ever go to the early show again if I can help it. The weather most days was fine - humid. There was a small shower in the afternoon each day but nothing that posed a problem.
Friday we went back to EPCOT, swam at the pool and did the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. At EPCOT - we went to Imagination and got the special YOMD ears! I was so excited!!!!! Hoop Dee Doo is a great show, but the food is just so-so (in my opinion). We explored Fort Wilderness, made an ode to the boarded up River Country and stopped at Wilderness Lodge on the way home.
Saturday was MGM - and guess what - we went to Animation to watch the movie, and they gave us Dream Fastpasses! I couldn't believe it. It was great. We got to walk into Little Mermaid, and we were able to give our fastpasses away that we already had - so that was nice to help someone else out. Dinner was at the Coral Reef - it was great!!!! I was surprised after reading the reviews, but we had a great meal.
Flew home today. Always sad to leave, but we had a great trip. I am always amazed at how each visit to WDW is great. Also watched the wand come down more. Anyway - 7 great days!!!

nice report and thanks! My trip is not until mid-October and I am sort of counting the days. It won't hit me until September or into October but when it gets close, my mind will be on Disney.

thank again.
