So, welcome all to my first trip report. Or maybe it's my second. Anyways, on with the program.
Thursday December 16
We arrived in WDW on the 16th. At around 10:30 or 11 we got in the MK. It was deserted. Space Mtn. was almost a walk-on, and Haunted Mansion was a walk-on. Didn't do much at MK.
After that we went to Port Orleans: French Quarter. All I have to say is WOW. We got a huge corner room. It was amazing. The beds were so soft. I'd definately recommend. It was our first time at French Quarter, but we've stayed at Dixie Landings (Now Riverside) years ago.
We ate at Pizzeria Uno at the Crossroads for dinner. Yum, gotta love deep dish. Then we went over to MGM Studios. We went on ToT, almost a walk-on, got a FastPass for RnRC (Didn't feel like waiting 20-min). Then we went to see the lights. They were good, but Residential St. was a lot better. Then we went to RnRC, where there was no one, so we walked on twice. The second time we got front row, and it didn't launch at first. It was cool. THen Fantasmic! let out, and they swarmed to RnRC.
Next on our journey through my trip is Epcot. We liend up for IllumiNations. It was great as usual. Then we saw the Let There be Peace on Earth Tag. I tell ya', I was not impressed (Please see tomorrow night's IllumiNations)
Friday December 17
Friday, we went to Animal Kingdom for EMH. Even 15-min after opening, the parking lot filled a grand-total of 1 row. We got on Kili and Primeval Whirl right away, but Dinosaur was closed for technical diffuculties. We finally got on it, though, just before the crowds found it
I kind of forgot what we did this day, but I know we went to Beaches & Cream for the first time ever. Oooooohh, the burgers are awesome.... Then we went to Norway to watch IllumiNations. Then we saw the Holday Tag... Just... Wow.... Jeez, it's insane. The night before, the tag was horrible. It hardly had any fireworks. Anyone know what was wrong?
Saturday December 18
We went to MGM Studios for EMH today. Lemme tell you, it was a lto different then the 11th. There was still crowds, but not capacity crowds. We got on ToT and RnRC, granted, with a FP on RnRC. We also went over to Epcot, were we went to WoL and rode Cranium Command and Body Wars. We also saw them testing the globe, form all the way across World Showcase. So naturally, I ran across to get pictures. I'll post them soon. That night we saw RoE again, with the good huge finale, unlike Thursday. The crowds picked up a bit that day, but still not bad.
Sunday December 19
Sunday, we went to MK EMH. We got on CoP, TTA, HoP, and Timekeeper, which I haven't been on in forever. I can't even remember the last time I went on it. Then we went to the Earl for lunch. Mmmm, there sandwiches are to die for. I LOVE the Full Montagu. We went to Epcot next, where lots of stuff were walk-on. We went on HISTA, and I have to ask, does anyone have the music they play as walk into the theater? I love that song. We also saw IllumiNations yet again. Except, the AA laser wasn't working very well. Some parts it wasn't on. Also, they put the globe out into the center, then moved it to AA about 15 min before showtime. They also did it on Thursday, anyone know why?
The 20th, we got up at 8AM and came home. That's about it. So, I know i'm gonna have some more to add that I remember, so don't be surprised if I update it. Also, if anyone can answer the questions I have scattered through the report, that'll be great! :sohappy: Also, I have lots of pics I'll upload later,
