Well, Believe is now in the history books. I decided to view the last showing from MSUSA. I was standing in the middle of the street in the circle very close to where the corridor is that leads to MH. It was a very nice location to watch from.

Misc thoughts from the weekend:

Friday night - instead of the 10 minute warning for the Parade to begin at 8:00 we got the announcement - please stand for the National Anthem. Huh? From my position on the DLRR platform it was funny to watch every stand and face one of the flags (City Hall, Emporium, etc.) Unfortunately there was no anthem. It would have been nice since this was Memorial Day weekend.

Friday night - before the Parade I went on a trip around the Park on the DLRR. Of course as I passed Critter Country I expected to see the moose and deers. One one nice wide flat rock, stretched out enjoying the sun, was a black cat. I thought it was cute. And the cat could care less that a train was passing by.

Sub Lagoon - There was a thread talking about the walls up around the Sub area. I don't think the answer was ever posted. The walls are not for the subs per se but something is being done to/for the entrance of the Monorail - at least that is what it looked like to me.

Sunday Fantasmic 10:30 - The sequence where the queen turns into the old hag was quite smokey. So smokey in fact that we never saw the hag until she moved to center stage and did he bit from there.

Sunday Pirates - wow - what is happening to this ride? A couple weeks ago Kirsten and I rode it and we noticed lots of extra lights and some weird things, like the bird on the skelitons head was pointing towards the boats.

Well, last night even more is different. Half the beach (same scene as above) was dark. And the bird wasn't turned sideways, it was completely gone now.

In the battle scene the projection has a brief moment when one fo the fighters appears to be wearing a Mickey Ears hat.

In the final scene where there is the gun battle the guy on the left (laying on the cannon) was gone, as was the cannon. In his place was some extra barrels. The funny part was that you could still hear his singing and firing of his gun.

Well, that is all I can thnk of right now. 3 nights and 3 showings of Believe later. That is a good weekend in my opinion.

Man, after a whole weekend of DL, did I enjoy sleeping in today! :D I made it home by 12:45 last night... :lookaroun

Unfortunately, my pics didn't come out as well as they did at the test and Fantasmic a couple of weeks ago, but they're decent enough for me. I posted them on my photo link in my sig. No more Believe... :'(

And I'm still laughing over the mess that was the 4:45 showing of Aladdin yesterday. "Wanna do the wave?" I feel proud to say I was sitting next to the guy that started the only Wave I have ever seen in the Hyperion Theater, after 27 times seeing that show... :sohappy:
