not to sound but what did u mean chips and stickers at buzz?-like snack chips and mickey mouse stickers?im just curious if it was just bombarded with 50 kids or did it look like it was there for like a week and there was a lack of upkeep at the attraction?:( :( :(

I was wondering how the mildew on the logs at splash mt. is the stuff on the hand rail. Thanks and it was a good report. Glad to hear all things are running smothly.

Lines, lines...almost forgot lines!

In the morning, the attractions were walk-on. By 12 though, everything was VERY crowded. COP didn't have impressive lines until around 2 or 3:00 (although they got to almost max capacity/show like CBJ).

At 9:00, Peter Pan STILL had a 65 minute wait! However, towards 11, some of the rides like Buzz and Alien Encounter went back to walk-ons.

Still, one of the most crowded days of the year! :)

i feel sooooo much better now-after hearing of paint chips i emailed disney and i feel so much better!!!!!i have emailed disney in the past and they were generally concerned .even if they sent me a blow off letter i know at least it puts the light on that there is an issue at buzz lightyear.i let them know that paint chips and walt disney world should never be in the same sentence ans i threw the fact im a stock holder with disney even though i only have one share i got for x-mas-he he he- i hope the next time anyone goes this will be addressed- i also threw in my dad has been at disney corporate building many times in burbank and has also met eisner(he is a freelance art director/computer graphics designer/photographer) and has done lots of work for disney interactive for "point 3" which is a 3rd party company who does some of disneys ads in magazines and print. anyway i feel better:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

what amazes me is that the sign above the begining of the ride in Buzz Space Spin is faded and it's been like that for ever. yet the sun can not fade it since it is inside

Nice update! About some of those Splash Mountain "glitches", like the frog not talking.. that has happened to me before too... you might have been on a log that was out of sync with the scenes..

On tta the part about cop and timekeeper are only said when those rides are open. I was there all last week and until friday when those to attractions were open there was no mention of them on tta.also space mountain was closed all week but opened on friday thank god. I called disney information the day before i left and they told me nothing was scheduled for rehab. i did get some good video of space mountain with the lights on. so that was cool.

The spiels are now back up. All three. I have video (I was recording the COP area near the exit and I say, when standing there for about 10 minutes, you get sick of it!

So, as of Saturday, all three are back up.

No, I didn't smell my hands or smell the handles at "Splash"...or just didn't notice 'em! :)

i doubt it. it probably as easy as hitting a button for different versions of the ride spiel.
Ive been told by a CM that it is actually that easy. The different parts of it can be taken out or added by just the press of a button or 2, and its like that for situations like this, where a ride is flucuating between open and closed, so they dont have to redo the spiel everytime.
