Day 1:
Arrived at Wilderness Lodge 10:30 am and all three rooms were ready. We had rooms on the 6th floor overlooking the villas. We were excited to stay at the Lodge but were a bit disapointed. We had the balconies that you can't see over if you are sitting down and the rooms were small for a deluxe resort. I have a nice bruise on my leg from bumping into the furniture. My Dad complained that he couldn't sit in a comfortable chair in the room and the food options weren't good. We liked the food at Whispering Canyon but the noise gets to you after a few days. The biggest problem by far was the buses! There was no way that you could get anywhere without waiting a long time for a bus. You had to figure at least 45 min. - 1 hour to get to Epcot, MGM or Animal Kingdom. WL shares buses with Fort Wilderness and no matter where we went we always had to swing through Fort Wilderness. After a few days I opted to take the bus to Ticket transportation then the monarail to Epcot (20 minutes). The transportation at the All Stars was much better! I know it sounds like I'm complaining but we were paying for a deluxe resort and had felt it definately wasn't worth the money! Enough of the negatives and on to the Disney magic.
Epcot:
The Land had its greenhouses open to walk through and wasvery
interesting. The lines moved along quickly even if it said 45 min.
My kids love Body Wars and the entire WOL pavillion. We rode it 2
and saw Cranium Command. We went on the Mexico ride and
Norway then walked to Japan for dinner at the counter service. We
saw TOD parade and liked it then went back to the hotel at 7:30.

I'll write more later so much to tell!

Day 2:
Took the boat to MK. We were on the dock at 8:30am and waited 15min for boat and couldn't get on it. The boat comes from Fort Wilderness already full and many people were not happy. Finally another boat came empty and were we in the park at 9:20. There were many characters all over main street and I must say it was a big difference from last years trip in October. We bypassed all characters and headed to Fantasy Land to Peter Pans Flight because we know that there is always a long line for this ride. We then went on It's a small world. We got autographs from Mary Poppins, Bert , the Penguins and White Rabbit. We did Snow White, tea cups and got a fast pass for Winnie the Pooh then headed to Toon Town to do the Barn stormer. After the Barn stormer I didn't feel good. The stupid tea cups did me in! I ate an ice cream and felt much better. We did Pooh and headed to Tomorrowland. The raceway had a long line so we skipped it and went to Buzz lightyear. It already had a 30 min. wait but we got on line any way and a very magical thing happened. A women came up to me and asked me if we wanted 3 fast passes for Buzz. We graciously accepted. Then we went on TTA twice. I tried to convince my daughters to go on Space Mountain but they said no. Last year my kids went on it many times but this year they were scared, go figure? We then headed back to Fantasy Land to meet up with the rest of the family by the Sword in the Stone.
After meeting up with the family we had lunch at Peco Bill's and ran into a friend from home. Don't you love when this happens! We went on the Haunted Mansion and one of my daughters was scared. I have no idea whats going on with my kids because they weren't afraid of anything last year or the year before. I have 8 year old twin girls has anyone else experienced this with their kids? They didn't want to go on Splash Mt. and BTM line was long so we headed to POTC. While by the POTC we saw Mr. Smee and Wendy from Peter Pan. This was the first time I've ever seen Wendy besides a parade. Next stop Aladdin then Swiss Family Tree House. Then a refreshing break for a Dole Whip while my kids saw Baloo. My parents left the park for the hotel and my girls begged me to return to Toon Town for Minnie and Mickey's house. We rode Barn Stormer again then went through the houses and decided to head back to the hotel. We were waiting for the train to Main Street and we saw Prince John and The Sheriff from Robin Hood. The were very funny. The Sheriff opened up my pack and took out my wallet and gestered for me to pay up. While on the train I saw the boat for Wilderness Lodge and thought we're going to miss it but much to my surprise we made it without even trying.
That night we headed over to MGM to see Fantasmic. It was a great show and we had good seats, my sister headed over earlier and was sitting in them at 6:15. We were still on the bus and figured we'll just sit where ever. While on the bus the phone rang and much to our surprise the people sitting in the seats in front of them decided to leave so by the time we got there, 6:45, we had seats. The show was great!!!!:king:
More later......

Does anyone know why you can't indent for the start of a new paragraph? I like to write in proper English form but I notice that when writting on the boards it doesn't always get posted they way you write it. Oh well

Day 3:
Went to MGM and rode Rock-N-Roll Rollercoaster (walked on) then to Tower of Terror which we also walked on. The crowds are deceiving at MGM. We arrived around 10:30 am and Hollywood Blvd. looked crowded but there were no lines on the rides. We saw the Beauty and the Beast show, it was my first time seeing it and enjoyed it. The opening act of Five for a dollar was excellent. It was a very hot day so we cooled off with some ice cream from a near by take out window. I must say that the price of an ice cream and size is an excellent value. I live in new york and a small scoop (even Carvel) is $2.50+ and its a very small scoop. I've hard people complain about the price of food in WDW but if any of you has ever been to Six Flags or HersheyPark the prices are the same but there is a vast difference in quality. I was in Hershey this summer and the food was horrible!!!!!!! and a long waits on line. Enough on the food tangent and back to business....

After the show we waited to meet up with some family members that just checked into the Beach Club and were heading over to MGM by boat. This is where cell phones are great. I'm not a big cell phone user but it helped us secure great seats for fantasmic and link up without waiting around. After meeting Aunt Janice we strolled along Sunset Blvd. and went in the shops to cool off and buy souveniers. We bought the gigantic Pez dispenser as a gag Christmas gift for my brother-in-law in the candy shop as well as a delicious candy apple. We then headed toward the Great Movie Ride. This ride had the longest wait. After the ride the weather changed and it was getting windy and a lot cooler. My kids wanted to go into the hat and play with the Kiosk's. They just loved these! I had to drag them away each time. It was around 3:00 and I was getting tired (I pushed it too hard as usual) and the girls wanted to go back to the hotel to swim before it poured.
We were also hungry and I decided to eat in the ABC Commissary. I had a great Cubano sandwich and my kids had chicken fingers. We headed back to the Wilderness Lodge and it started to rain while we were on the bus. By the time we got to the room it was a deluge, we waited a while till it let up then went in the pool and hot tubs. I wanted to go to the Magic Kingdom to see Spectomagic because it was the only show during our visit but I was vetoed
by my kids. They wanted to hang out at the hotel and go to the arcade. Since we weren't very hungry we ate at the Roaring Forks counter service and it was just OK. Roaring Forks doesn't have much of a selection and you can't even compare it to the food courts at the other hotels. My girls were fast asleep by 8:30pm so I watched the light parade from our balcony while drinking a nice cool Beck's light. My view was partially obstructed by the tree's but still enjoyed it. The next day Animal Kingdom....more later

I completely forgot about the Princess Breakfast in Norway that we had before we went to MGM. Our reservations were for 8:40 and guest relations at the lodge told us to be at the bus stop no later then 7:30 to get the "character breakfast bus." Well, like I mentioned before, transportation is a problem at this resort. We waited a half an hour for the bus and never saw the "character bus" or an Epcot bus. Other families were also going to the breakfast and we were all getting worried. Finally an Epcot bus arrived and of course we had to swing through Ft. Wilderness. We arrived at Epcot around 8:30 and hustled to Norway. The food wasn't great and not much of a selection but we were there to see the princesses and they were all very attentive. We saw Snow White, Auroura, Jasmin, Belle and Mulan. After breakfast we went on Test track and JIYI then headed to the international gateway to catch the boat to MGM.

Sounds like fun! Sorry about the buses, I stayed at Fort Wilderness Campgrounds once and the busses were a hit or miss thing. You either go tthere and a buses arrived in two minutes or you had to wait for 15min. We ended up driving ourselves a lot of places that vacation.

Can't wait to hear more!:sohappy:

<<That night we headed over to MGM to see Fantasmic. >>

So, you were at Fantasmic on Monday, Nov.4? We were there that night but we sat all the way on the left side. After about 15 minutes of proding, we finally got our section to do the wave and it caught on. The whole audience got into it. Were you there for that? I think it was the Monday night.
