Need help from the group. I am planning on scheduling a trip to WDW lwith my wife and 2 year old ater this year or early in 2003. I need thoughts/opinions on which is the better times to go either in November 2002 or February 2003 and what are the adv/disadv. of going on these dates. Thanks for the help!

If the child was older I'd say febuary cuz it gives them a break from the long last semester of school, but I would go in November since the child is only 2, the Christmas Stuff is very cool!!

I would say the first week of Nov. because it is the Food and Wine fest. and it is less crowded. The rates sre also cheaper and almost everything is open. If you go in Jan. or Feb. some water parks might be closed. I always go that week. But if you want a cheaper resort book it no later than July.

HANDS DOWN NOVEMBER! FIRST THE CHRISTMAS DECOR. IS UP LATE IN THE MONTH , AND EVEN IF YOU GO EARLIER IN THE MONTH ITS SO MUCH MORE RELAXED ATMOSPHERE. NO SPRING BREAKERS LIKE IN FEB/MAR. WE STAY IN THE W LODGE AND THEY SET THE CHRS TREE UP NOV 18 THIS YEAR , AND IT IS A SIGHT! BASICALLY I FEEL THE BEST TIME TO GO IS BETWEEN OCT1 THROUGH NOV 30 EXCLUDING THE THANKSGIVING CROWD WEEK

I've been at WDW before at both of those times but I say plan on November as the better time. If your a baseball fan February is good but there are too many school groups etc due to school vacations. November is a perfect time to be there.

Go in November!! My main reasons:

Christmas decorations are extremely beautiful and are up and set from Thanksgiving.

Weather! A lot better than February. It will be cold and humid, but February is even colder at the beginning of the month...

Early February is the season for brazilian groups... hehehe j/k ;) (NO intentions to offend anyone or start a thread about them, ok? tks!)

Go there in November... a lot better!!

Last year we went for Thanksgiving week. Even then Friday and Saturday were the only really crowded days.

Most of the MK decorations did go up overnight on just in time for Thanksgiving. But, all of MGM was up when we got there the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
