Trip Planning ... a long way off December 17-26, 2015 ... need help

So I just redeemed some reward $$$ to start planning my trip. Here's my current plan. Hoping to fly out on the night of December 17th. The next day instead of heading to a park, I thought we'd spend the first day Resort Hopping to see all the decorations. We'll be staying at POR. So I thought we'd catch a bus to MK, then hop on the monorail the to Poly (for breakfast), then to GF, then Contemporary.
So I assume after that maybe catch the monorail to EPCOT and then start taking the buses to different resorts from there? Anyone know of a good plan to see the resorts ... the best routes?

I'd say you've started with quite a good plan already. Personally, after The Contemporary I'd head towards AKL and then take the bus back to the EPCOT Resort hotels to finish with

I'm not sure whether there is a resort to resort bus (they do park to park) in which case take the monorail to the Transport Hub and then the bus to AKL

Walk to the Magic Kingdom and take the AKL bus.

I think I read somewhere you can catch a boat from Contemporary to WL. Is that true????

Yes! There's also a boat that goes from MK to WL too. I also hear that FW campground has a lot of decorations to see too. They have carriage rides.
