I'm doing some last minute things for our disney vacation trip for next week.
I still need 2 book a hotel also.
Is there anything to expect?
I also still have to get tickets for Magic Kingdom or MGM Studios?
Please help me out.

So, basically, you need to find a place to stay, decide what park to go to, and get tickets??? Are you just stopping by disney, or is this a disney vacation? Are you messing with us?

We are going to Sea World the day we get there if we leave early, the next day we are going to try to go MK but if we do not stay in a disney resort hotel for extra magic hours then it will probably be MGM studios and the next day is busch gardens.
Im still trying to figure out about the MK or MGM because im still trying to figure out if MGM is worth a whole day.

Well, give Evan a call - KK is great with helping you get where yuo need to be.. LOL... I would say if you have kids along - MK would be the place to spend the day when you have to pick just one park... otherwise MGM is great for adults... (well, they all are - but anyways ;))

as to things to expect? Expect crowds... it's summer time after all, and expect to be very limited on accomodations as most people plan wayyy in advance for vacations. But on the upside - It sounds like you pretty much know what you want to do! Have a great trip and be sure to give us a trip report when you get back! :)

If you need to choose between MK or MGM, def. do Magic Kingdom.
Also, I agree that you will probably miss a lot because this is very last minute! First take care of hotel and tickets and if you have time, check out this website for tips: http://www.touringplans.com

Ok i have a 15 yr. old and we do magic kingdom every year and he said he didn't mind going to either park but do u think that we would be okay spending all day at MGM opposed to MK.
I found a hotel at the Residence Inn ORlando Sea World COnvention Center they said its a 1 Queen Bedroom Seperate Living Room with Sitting Area, Sofa Bed, and Full Kitchen...I just hope it has tvs in both rooms.
Also, the room is 131.00 a night with military discount and it changes to 93.00 a night on July 15th the third day of our trip (Busch Gardens).

What do u think?

Good luck! I would be a nervous wreck if we were leaving next week and had NOTHING planned. Especially a place to stay! Tickets are easy to come by, but the perfect resort is not! I guess my OCD is coming out!!! Have fun and stay cool....and DRY!:)

If you like the place then it will work. As long as you are ok staying there. Remember that area trraffic can be somewhat of a hassle during the morning and evenings. Just keep that in consideration for the days you won't be at Sea World. I also think that if you are going to see everything the studios has to offer then you can make a full day out of it. What about Epcot though?

IMO, (and that's just MY opinion :) ) I LOVE MGM Studios. To me it's always a full day - three or four times each on Tower of Terror and Aerosmith's RRC, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Millionaire, Indy, Muppets, Stunt Show, Great Movie Ride, perhaps the 4 p.m. parade, and ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS see Fantasmic. I love the atmosphere, the shows, and the sit down restaurants...Sci Fi and Prime Time 50's especially. So to me, the Studio's is worth a whole day.

But I'm sure there are people who don't like shows, and would rather spend the day at MK. (And I could never decide between MGM and MK...they're both my favorites! But if you haven't done MGM, give it a try! )

Either way, just remember that FAST PASSES are your key to an enjoyable vacation. Don't wait more than half an hour in line if you can get a fast pass for anything. Expect hot weather, bring lots of water, and HAVE FUN!!!
