Who do you all use for trip insurance? I currently have the insurance through Disney, but I know there has got to be a better deal out there.

Thanks.

I have never used it and usually go at the height of hurricane season. I did look into it a few years ago...I called my insurance agent at the time and he found me a company, you might check with your insurance guy and see if he knows anyone.

We are flying down. I was just concerned with flying with a 1 and a 3 year old. You never know when a child is going to come down with a cold or what.

You can always check InsureMyTrip to compare, but I have always found WDW's insurance to be a good value. It's $66.95 per adult, each adult in the room must get it, it covers all children in the room too, and even covers your air, even if you didn't book it with Disney.

DCL's insurance is on the high side for cost, I usually do some insurance shopping when cruising.

Actually, since you have it with Disney already, you are stuck with it, because once purchased it is non-refundable.

If you have a 'premium' credit card, check to see if you're covered by that. I never buy add-on insurance since my CC covers me so long as I paid for the trip using it. Covers lot luggage, delayed/cancelled flights, health and hospitalization and virtually any weather-related problems. What it doesn't cover, my Government health plan out-of-country coverage covers.
