Trip in September

Hi All,

Single Dad here with a 4 year old. We went to Disney World for 4 days last year in Sept for his 4 year old Birthday. I have planned another trip in Sept for the last week of the month. Last year we stayed at Wilderness Lodge checking on a Wed and checking out on a Sunday.. This year we are staying at Polynesian for 7 nights!! Woohoo.. I am lucky to have a good job and be able to take my little guy on trips. Last year he had a blast and i'm looking for suggestions this year.

Last year we mainly stayed at Magic Kingdom most days except for one day we went to Animal Kingdom. We also went to Epcot for about 3-4 hours. Dining wise we did Chef Mickey's, Whispering Canyon, the pooh themed one, can't remember the name in Magic Kingdom and Be your guest for breakfast. Oh, we also did Garden Cafe at Epcot. I think Garden Cafe, Chef Mickeys and Whispering Canyon were his favorites. He wasn't big on Animal Kingdom that much.. At Magic Kingdom he loved Seven Dwarfs mining train and Splash Mountain the best.

He loves Mini golf so I figured we could go do that this time. Also we didn't go to Hollywood
Studios. I used the Touring plan app to lay out and monitor our rides, etc. Typically we are
both pretty go go go and aside from naps we were at the park aside from some pool time.

Any recommendations on laying out a plan for this year? Obviously 2-3 days at Magic Kingdom will be a must, perhaps explore more at Epcot? I know Hollywood Studios is changing a lot. Just trying to start on some sort of plan.. Any shows or fun things we should do at the Polynesian?

Thanks,

Greg

I don't know if he is old enough but if he has any interest in Star Wars perhaps he would enjoy Jeti training. If he is too young to participate he may enjoy watching one of the shows where the children show their skills. Tusker House has a really nice character meal experience too. Have a wonderful time!
