I am crazy and have decided to take myself (34) Sister (32) DD (14) DD Friend (14) DS (12) DS Friend (13) Niece (11) to Disney World for Spring Break.

I have done crowds at Disney before and know its going to be crowded. However, I have never taken so many teens before, also my Niece and kids friends have never been their before. We only have 2 days, 1 full day at MK and 1 day park hopping the other parks ( have to end this day at Fantasmic because that is my favorite LOL!) I need tips, meeting locations incase we get seperated, rides that run out of FP's early, where to eat to get the best bang for the buck, Character breakfast?? would it be worth the money to get the main meet and greets out of the way and done earlier enough can you make it to the park by opening? We are on a super tight budget, I was gifted a free hotel stay and 2 park hopper tickets and thus the Spring Break Trip has been created LOL. We are driving from Texas. I am beyond excited, I LOVE Disney world and love the memories that I create with my kids!! Thanks in advance for your help :)

Well I've never been there during Spring Break but as for the question bolded above, given the anticipated crowds, I would definitely plan to be at the parks by rope-drop both days. I'm not sure which are the "main meet and greets" that you want to do, but if you can see the characters you want at early breakfasts before park openings, that would be a great help to maximize your time at park attractions.

The main ride that will run out of FPs the quickest is probably TSMM at DHS. If you plan to end the day at DHS in order to see F! then you will not get a FP for that ride, but you might get slightly shorter lines just before closing. Maybe not though since it will be Spring Break. If you plan to park hop to more than 2 parks on your second day, you will likely get very little done at any park in light of the crowds. Perhaps pick your 2 faves.

We plan on only doing Epcot and Hollywood Studios :)

We went during Spring break this year. It was crazy crowded, but with early and late hours, we got everything done we wanted. We also did Journey of the Little Mermaid during the fireworks with no wait when the wait was 100 minutes and longer during the day. Firework and parade times are the best chance to get on big rides if you don't have extra hours. With Fastpass +, it may be very hard to get any fastpasses. Be there before rope drop and stay until closing. Let everyone pick their favorite ride and go straight for those first.
Toy Story is the hardest ride to get on without a hugh waittime. If you don't have fastpasses, run-don't walk- there as soon as they open the gate. Do the same for Soarin and Test Track, even though the single rider line may be a better option for Test Track. Go straight for the Safari in AK, then Kali or Everest.

I would recommend Crystal Palace for the character meal. Make sure and be on the phone 180 days out to get a pre-park opening time. Then you can eat and be in the park at opening not wasting any park time.

I am not familar with Fastpass + ........ I guess I will have to do some research
With fastpass +, people who are staying onsite and have their tickets, can make fastpass reservations before they go to the parks. I already have ours for our Nov. trip. Even though, those not onsite will be able to make them when they get to the park. You have to use a kiosk or have the My Disney Experience app on your phone or tablet.

If you want budget but good food, here is my personal recommendations:
Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom for breakfast (book before park opening so you get in MK early and don't lose park time while enjoying a character meal, about $30 person. If your not an early riser, lunch is about the same price here as well!
Be Our Guest in the Magic Kingdom is good for lunch or dinner. Lunch is much cheaper but you may have to wait in line, it will cost about $15 per person. Dinner is even better! That restaurant is magical! The menu is what really will make your decision on lunch or dinner. It will most likely set you back about $30 a person for dinner.
Columbia Harbor House in the Magic Kingdom, is one of the best quick service restaurants! Sooooo good! Im still dreaming of the lobster roll! Will run you about $12 person person.

Via Napoli in Epcot will get you the most food for the lowest cost and the food is great! You could easily feed your entire group for under $80 dollars! Not to mention the restaurant is so pretty!
Teppan Edo in Epcot provides a great show while enjoying a great meal! It will probably cost about $30 a person.

And lastly, since you express interest in seeing Fantasmic, you should look into the Fantasmic dinner package, Mama Melrose in Hollywood Studios is excellent and the package would allow you to get an app, entree, and dessert for about $35 to $38 dollars a person with seats front and center to the show!

You can eat reasonably if you do quick service. Go to allears. They have every restaurant's menus and prices by park. For the budget minded, I recommend Sunshine Seasons in Epcot, Backlot Express in DHS, Cosmic Rays or Pecos Bill's at MK, Restaurantosaurus at AK, and Earl of Sandwich at DTD.
