Hi all,
As above really my trip this year is between the 27th of September to the 11th of October how busy are the crowds likely to be? Touring plans seems to hover around the 4s 5s which is higher than I expected!

We have gone during those times for years and found crowds to be manageable, except the locals on the weekends making it a bit more crowded. Keep in mind the F&W festival starts around then so October gets to be crowded at EPCOT. We love that time of year, the weather is good, hot but too hot, great for a dip in the pool on a day off. Hurricanes are the only things that stand in your way during those times and we have been lucky enough for the past four years but you never know! I think we have had one or two days that it rained and then it did not rain all day so our plans were postponed but not washed out. I love that time of year, unfortunately it is not in our plans this year, sad.

When I saw the title of the thread I took it to mean you're staying at WDW for over a month and I thought, wow, look dude!

September is indeed calmer and will be less crowded for sure, you can also attend the Halloween party while you are there. Like the pp said, avoid EPCOT on weekends. Downside of September is the high temperatures and too much rain plus they might do some last minute refurbs to get the park ready for the Holidays.

November is a great month to visit. Crowds are still low for the most part of the month, you can go to Christmas party if that interests you. Parks will be decked out in pretty decorations for the Holidays starting around November 15th. Temperatures will be lower, it's one of driest months of the year as well. Downside of November: crowds pick up for the last weekend of F&WF when they have the half marathon and also again for Thanksgiving, so you have to time your visit just right.

I'll be there from Nov/9-21, I know the first two days will be crowded but I couldn't miss F&W!
