Why is it that the trip countdown doesn't show the days, hours, minutes and sec anymore? :(

Is there a problem with it or is that just the way it works now ?

We have an ongoing technical problem with it, but are hoping to get it back running again soon. Apologies for the delay.

If you're at Coronado in 760 days, yes it is. :animwink:

For what it's worth, it can take some time between when you change or add trip info and when the system starts showing it.

I just received a renew notice for my countdown and I'm not sure I want to do that since it hasn't even registered any countdown since last fall. When is it going to be fixed???? I really don't want to spend the money if I'm not getting what I paid for. I feel like I only got six months of a countdow that worked for me. Too bad because I really enjoyed it.

Let me know if you want to cancel and I will drop you a refund. Still working on the fix, but it's taking longer than expected. Your WDWMAGICPass does give you a lot more than just a countdown though :)

hi Steve,
I'd rather have another 6 months added to my membership but if not I'll take the refund. Thanks for offering the refund which I'll take, but if you can add the extra months after it is fixed, I'd be most happy!

Hi guys, just to let you know that the trip Countdown system is now fully running again. Apologies for the extended downtime, it turned into a complete rewrite of the system.

http://www.wdwmagic.com/tripcountdown
It works on the countdown page itself, but when you click on "Make this countdown my home page", the home page still doesn't work...

http://www.wdwmagic.com/tripcountdown/MontyMon.htm works

http://countdown.wdwmagic.com/tripcountdown.aspx?username=MontyMon Doesn't work.

What page are you seeing the problem with "Make this countdown my home page" monty?

Thanks.
If I go to the first link below, I get a Days/Hours/Minutes/Seconds countdown inside a frame on the page. The "Make this countdown my home page" there is what I click on and it creates the second link as my browser home page which shows the dates I'm travelling, but no days and time countdown.

Attached are screencaps of both

Disregard that... The window in the second link is the way it saved it as my home page before, unchanged because the "Make this countdown my home page" link just links back to the page it's already on and doesn't reset my home page...

That second link (http://countdown.wdwmagic.com/tripcountdown.aspx?username=MontyMon) should not be used anymore.

When you go to http://www.wdwmagic.com/tripcountdown/MontyMon.htm, the Make Homepage just sets that page to be your browser homepage. It has no way of getting the old link.

Did you have it set as your home page before?

OK got it thanks. Its a compatibility problem with Firefox. It works in IE, but does not set the homepage in Firefox. I will look into it. Thanks.

The http://countdown.wdwmagic.com/tripcountdown.aspx?username=MontyMon was my home page. But clicking the Make Homepage did not change my home page to the new style page, that's what confused me. If you look at the link, it just shows the URL of the page, it doesn't save it as homepage [at least not in FireFox].

EDIT: I gotta start waiting for your first reply before I post more... we're saying the same things...

Thanks Steve.
