Trip canceled... what to do with MNSSHP tickets?

**1 of 2 tickets has been sold. There currently is only ONE ticket available. Please feel free to contact if you're interested**

Due to a schedule conflict... I had to cancel our 4 night stay over Halloween which included 2 adult tickets to MNSSHP on 10/30.

I purchased the tickets with my Disney Rewards dollars a week or two after dates were released... knowing 10/30 would most likely sell out.

Now... I have no idea what to do with them!

The tickets are not linked to our MDE (for concerns with potential FP+ issues) and are still attached to the paper with envelope.

Is my best bet eBay? I have no desire to 'make' money off these tickets... just simply sell them for $70 a piece with free shipping.

Its unlikely we'll be down for MVMCP or I could transfer... so really just need to unload them.

Any thoughts or takers?

There was a person asking about tickets a few weeks back. I'll see if I can find her.

I agree, stick together. Sell the tickets to someone here, they'll be more appreciated by a wdwmagic forum resident than a random person on eBay.

Thanks for the response guys! I'd absolutely prefer to help a forum member out... just wasn't sure where to do that? Can I use this section... just rename this thread perhaps?

I've sold party tickets on eBay when in a pinch with no issues. For the 10/30 party, they'll probably be snapped up quickly.

Happy to hear this... was a tad nervous with the eBay idea.

I had checked to see if tickets were already up... and sure enough... there were... with a starting bid at $250?! Whaaa?!

Thanks for checking back Nemo... Would love to help out a family in need.

I chose the 30th since the Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic was the 31st/1st... priorities... hah.

In the past I've been able to apply the cost of party admission to general admission.

Interesting... wasn't aware of this! Not sure we could take advantage this time around... but glad this is an option.

Right because no one on this forum uses eBay  - everyone on here is no 'more' random than anyone buying and selling elsewhere online.

A better reason to not use eBay in this scenario is to save on the seller fee's.

That way you can re-coop as much as possible.

And yes, you can transfer money via Paypal without incurring fee's, you just have to set it up the right way.
