Trip Buying

Does anyone else get a special thrill when you "buy" items for an upcoming trip?

I mean, I was happy for a week when I bought our plane tickets. I was happy for two weeks when we paid for our AP.
Yesterday I was happy because we picked up a couple of cheap ponchos for the trip!! We still have 115 days left!


I have now started a disney trip box, that we are putting our special purchases in....

Every time we go to the mall and my wife wants to by our daughter clothes... I am like... and she can wear that to WDW...

Nope, I'm the same! In fact, I make up any excuse to call in and modify my room reservation so that I can get another confirmation in the mail :lol:

No, it's a normal symptom. LOL I get that, as well. I get excited when I buy travel sized tooth paste or baby wipes. I just bought brand new ponchos, too. (At our local Disney Character Warehouse, the 100 years of Magic ponchos are $1.99!)

Even my 14 year old daughter was thrilled when I told her that I had ordered our Very Merry Christmas Party tickets. Can't wait to receive them in the mail!

Oh yes I can empathise with that, I get very excited when I buy shower gel or lip balm or anything for the trip, it makes it feel like your trip is getting nearer and nearer! :wave:
