Is anyone wearing a costume to work on Thursday??
I am debating whether I should wear my costume (Snow White of course). Ok here's the thing: I work for the Secretary of State in Rhode Island and don't know if I should or not.:hammer:

Of course I will! I'm in college so I will be wearing my costume to class and then to work. (I work at a fabric and craft store) Of couse, I will be Mickey Mouse. I used the Simplicity pattern that was out last year. It is his red pants, white dress shirt and black long tux jacket, and of couse the costume wouldn't be complete without the very large head. (It covers my entire head...) I'll try to scan a pic If i can.

To snow white: You have to wear your costume!!! It wouldn't be halloween unless people dressed up, now would it? You should see if you can get some of your co-workers to dress up as the seven dwarfs (all they would need are sweatsuits and some hats with their names on it) That would be too cute!!!

I am, in a sneaky kind of way. I don't have any meetings or training that day so I'm gonna put on a Superman shirt under my regular shirt and leave my shirt open and my tie loose. If anything comes up I can button my shirt and tighten my tie and no one will be the wiser. I also wear glasses so my ensemble will be complete.

Just so my son doesn't have a cow, I have to tell you that this costume was his idea. You know how 15 yr olds are.

P.S. Anyone recognize my avatar. You don't count Tramp, you're old like me.

Hmm, I would have thought that a 15 year old wouldn't want credit for something like that!

The Green Hornet??

OMG! The "Clark Kent" thing is my standard halloween costume for the office. (My office is decorated with most of my Superman memorabilia, so it's kind of ecxpected of me . . .)

Cool to hear of someone else using this one!

Yes, the Green Hornets sidekick was Kato, played by Bruce Lee.

Now tell me who played The Green Hornet.

Hey, I wasn't alive then. I just remember Kato from a show I saw about Bruce Lee. No idea who played the Green Hornet. By the way, do you collect comics?

I have a full on luche libre wrestling costume that I wear when I escort my kids arround. Its funny to see kids and parents look at you like you've come to kill them. And some even recognize me. But I don't wear it to work. The guy at the bank dressed up like the Crow last year. He was so real that this little old lady in front of me told me to go ahead so he wouldn't have to wait on her!

I used to, when I was a teenager(a 100 yrs ago), but gave them away when I joined the Navy. My mom didn't want to keep them and I thought I was "too old" for them. Now I wish I still had them. I could put my son through college with them.

I feel your pain, Ace. I had four "Herbie" comics that I tossed after high school. I'm not sure how much they'd be worth now, probably about $300-$500 at a good comic convention.
