just curious what u folks think
ive been seeing bits and pieces of treasure planet trailers -it looks pretty kewl
in ur opinion do u think it will be
a-a mega hit like lion king and monsters inc
b-good movie but not mega hit like new groove,pochontas
c-or flop like country bears???

Well, I've read the book and loved it but I will probably give it a B rating.

Remember...Atlantis looked cool too..and you saw how bad THAT was...

..Disney always does this...releases 2 cartoons a year..one "funny"..on "serious"... the serious ones are never slated as hits as far as box office is concerned..but for us artists..its like pure gold...im happy they still do that

I think it'll make money, but won't be a "mega hit". It looks like an amazing movie, and I'm pretty sure Disney has learned their lesson after Atlantis that as flashy as the movie is, they need to make sure it has a great story.

Who knows, it could be a hit, and a slap in the face of Dreamworks, too.:lol:
